1 ויקהל משה את כל עדת בני ישראל ויאמר אלהם אלה הדברים אשר צוה יהוה לעשת אתם	1 Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, "This is what the LORD has commanded to be done.
2 ששת ימים תעשה מלאכה וביום השביעי יהיה לכם קדש שבת שבתון ליהוה כל העשה בו מלאכה יומת	2 On six days work may be done, but the seventh day shall be sacred to you as the sabbath of complete rest to the LORD. Anyone who does work on that day shall be put to death.
3 לא תבערו אש בכל משבתיכם ביום השבת	3 You shall not even light a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath day."
4 ויאמר משה אל כל עדת בני ישראל לאמר זה הדבר אשר צוה יהוה לאמר	4 Moses told the whole Israelite community, "This is what the LORD has commanded:
5 קחו מאתכם תרומה ליהוה כל נדיב לבו יביאה את תרומת יהוה זהב וכסף ונחשת	5 Take up among you a collection for the LORD. Everyone, as his heart prompts him, shall bring, as a contribution to the LORD, gold, silver and bronze;
6 ותכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש ועזים	6 violet, purple and scarlet yarn; fine linen and goat hair;
7 וערת אילם מאדמים וערת תחשים ועצי שטים	7 rams' skins dyed red, and tahash skins; acacia wood;
8 ושמן למאור ובשמים לשמן המשחה ולקטרת הסמים	8 oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;
9 ואבני שהם ואבני מלאים לאפוד ולחשן	9 onyx stones and other gems for mounting on the ephod and on the breastpiece.
10 וכל חכם לב בכם יבאו ויעשו את כל אשר צוה יהוה	10 "Let every expert among you come and make all that the LORD has commanded: the Dwelling,
11 את המשכן את אהלו ואת מכסהו את קרסיו ואת קרשיו את בריחו את עמדיו ואת אדניו	11 with its tent, its covering, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its columns and its pedestals;
12 את הארן ואת בדיו את הכפרת ואת פרכת המסך	12 the ark, with its poles, the propitiatory, and the curtain veil;
13 את השלחן ואת בדיו ואת כל כליו ואת לחם הפנים	13 the table, with its poles and all its appurtenances, and the showbread;
14 ואת מנרת המאור ואת כליה ואת נרתיה ואת שמן המאור	14 the lampstand, with its appurtenances, the lamps, and the oil for the light;
15 ואת מזבח הקטרת ואת בדיו ואת שמן המשחה ואת קטרת הסמים ואת מסך הפתח לפתח המשכן	15 the altar of incense, with its poles; the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; the entrance curtain for the entrance of the Dwelling;
16 את מזבח העלה ואת מכבר הנחשת אשר לו את בדיו ואת כל כליו את הכיר ואת כנו	16 the altar of holocausts, with its bronze grating, its poles, and all its appurtenances; the laver, with its base;
17 את קלעי החצר את עמדיו ואת אדניה ואת מסך שער החצר	17 the hangings of the court, with their columns and pedestals; the curtain for the entrance of the court;
18 את יתדת המשכן ואת יתדת החצר ואת מיתריהם	18 the tent pegs for the Dwelling and for the court, with their ropes;
19 את בגדי השרד לשרת בקדש את בגדי הקדש לאהרן הכהן ואת בגדי בניו לכהן	19 the service cloths for use in the sanctuary; the sacred vestments for Aaron, the priest, and the vestments worn by his sons in their ministry."
20 ויצאו כל עדת בני ישראל מלפני משה	20 When the whole Israelite community left Moses' presence,
21 ויבאו כל איש אשר נשאו לבו וכל אשר נדבה רוחו אתו הביאו את תרומת יהוה למלאכת אהל מועד ולכל עבדתו ולבגדי הקדש	21 everyone, as his heart suggested and his spirit prompted, brought a contribution to the LORD for the construction of the meeting tent, for all its services, and for the sacred vestments.
22 ויבאו האנשים על הנשים כל נדיב לב הביאו חח ונזם וטבעת וכומז כל כלי זהב וכל איש אשר הניף תנופת זהב ליהוה	22 Both the men and the women, all as their heart prompted them, brought brooches, earrings, rings, necklaces and various other gold articles. Everyone who could presented an offering of gold to the LORD.
23 וכל איש אשר נמצא אתו תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש ועזים וערת אילם מאדמים וערת תחשים הביאו	23 Everyone who happened to have violet, purple or scarlet yarn, fine linen or goat hair, rams' skins dyed red or tahash skins, brought them.
24 כל מרים תרומת כסף ונחשת הביאו את תרומת יהוה וכל אשר נמצא אתו עצי שטים לכל מלאכת העבדה הביאו	24 Whoever could make a contribution of silver or bronze offered it to the LORD; and everyone who happened to have acacia wood for any part of the work, brought it.
25 וכל אשה חכמת לב בידיה טוו ויביאו מטוה את התכלת ואת הארגמן את תולעת השני ואת השש	25 All the women who were expert spinners brought hand-spun violet, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen thread.
26 וכל הנשים אשר נשא לבן אתנה בחכמה טוו את העזים	26 All the women who possessed the skill, spun goat hair.
27 והנשאם הביאו את אבני השהם ואת אבני המלאים לאפוד ולחשן	27 The princes brought onyx stones and other gems for mounting on the ephod and on the breastpiece;
28 ואת הבשם ואת השמן למאור ולשמן המשחה ולקטרת הסמים	28 as well as spices, and oil for the light, anointing oil, and fragrant incense.
29 כל איש ואשה אשר נדב לבם אתם להביא לכל המלאכה אשר צוה יהוה לעשות ביד משה הביאו בני ישראל נדבה ליהוה	29 Every Israelite man and woman brought to the LORD such voluntary offerings as they thought best, for the various kinds of work which the LORD had commanded Moses to have done.
30 ויאמר משה אל בני ישראל ראו קרא יהוה בשם בצלאל בן אורי בן חור למטה יהודה	30 Moses said to the Israelites, "See, the LORD has chosen Bezalel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,
31 וימלא אתו רוח אלהים בחכמה בתבונה ובדעת ובכל מלאכה	31 and has filled him with a divine spirit of skill and understanding and knowledge in every craft:
32 ולחשב מחשבת לעשת בזהב ובכסף ובנחשת	32 in the production of embroidery, in making things of gold, silver or bronze,
33 ובחרשת אבן למלאת ובחרשת עץ לעשות בכל מלאכת מחשבת	33 in cutting and mounting precious stones, in carving wood, and in every other craft.
34 ולהורת נתן בלבו הוא ואהליאב בן אחיסמך למטה דן	34 He has also given both him and Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.
35 מלא אתם חכמת לב לעשות כל מלאכת חרש וחשב ורקם בתכלת ובארגמן בתולעת השני ובשש וארג עשי כל מלאכה וחשבי מחשבת	35 He has endowed them with skill to execute all types of work: engraving, embroidering, the making of variegated cloth of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen thread, weaving, and all other arts and crafts.
