1 Als Jesus den Tempel verließ, sagte einer von seinen Jüngern zu ihm: Meister, sieh, was für Steine und was für Bauten!	1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
2 Jesus sagte zu ihm: Siehst du diese großen Bauten? Kein Stein wird auf dem andern bleiben, alles wird niedergerissen.	2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 Und als er auf dem Ölberg saß, dem Tempel gegenüber, fragten ihn Petrus, Jakobus, Johannes und Andreas, die mit ihm allein waren:	3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4 Sag uns, wann wird das geschehen, und an welchem Zeichen wird man erkennen, dass das Ende von all dem bevorsteht?	4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
5 Jesus sagte zu ihnen: Gebt Acht, dass euch niemand irreführt!	5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
6 Viele werden unter meinem Namen auftreten und sagen: Ich bin es! Und sie werden viele irreführen.	6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
7 Wenn ihr dann von Kriegen hört und Nachrichten über Kriege euch beunruhigen, lasst euch nicht erschrecken! Das muss geschehen. Es ist aber noch nicht das Ende.	7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
8 Denn ein Volk wird sich gegen das andere erheben und ein Reich gegen das andere. Und an vielen Orten wird es Erdbeben und Hungersnöte geben. Doch das ist erst der Anfang der Wehen.	8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
9 Ihr aber, macht euch darauf gefasst: Man wird euch um meinetwillen vor die Gerichte bringen, in den Synagogen misshandeln und vor Statthalter und Könige stellen, damit ihr vor ihnen Zeugnis ablegt.	9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
10 Vor dem Ende aber muss allen Völkern das Evangelium verkündet werden.	10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
11 Und wenn man euch abführt und vor Gericht stellt, dann macht euch nicht im voraus Sorgen, was ihr sagen sollt; sondern was euch in jener Stunde eingegeben wird, das sagt! Denn nicht ihr werdet dann reden, sondern der Heilige Geist.	11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
12 Brüder werden einander dem Tod ausliefern und Väter ihre Kinder, und die Kinder werden sich gegen ihre Eltern auflehnen und sie in den Tod schicken.	12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13 Und ihr werdet um meines Namens willen von allen gehasst werden; wer aber bis zum Ende standhaft bleibt, der wird gerettet.	13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 Wenn ihr aber den unheilvollen Gräuel an dem Ort seht, wo er nicht stehen darf - der Leser begreife -, dann sollen die Bewohner von Judäa in die Berge fliehen;	14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
15 wer gerade auf dem Dach ist, soll nicht hinabsteigen und ins Haus gehen, um etwas mitzunehmen;	15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
16 wer auf dem Feld ist, soll nicht zurückkehren, um seinen Mantel zu holen.	16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
17 Weh aber den Frauen, die in jenen Tagen schwanger sind oder ein Kind stillen.	17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
18 Betet darum, dass dies alles nicht im Winter eintritt.	18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
19 Denn jene Tage werden eine Not bringen, wie es noch nie eine gegeben hat, seit Gott die Welt erschuf, und wie es auch keine mehr geben wird.	19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20 Und wenn der Herr diese Zeit nicht verkürzen würde, dann würde kein Mensch gerettet; aber um seiner Auserwählten willen hat er diese Zeit verkürzt.	20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
21 Wenn dann jemand zu euch sagt: Seht, hier ist der Messias!, oder: Seht, dort ist er!, so glaubt es nicht!	21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22 Denn es wird mancher falsche Messias und mancher falsche Prophet auftreten und sie werden Zeichen und Wunder tun, um, wenn möglich, die Auserwählten irrezuführen.	22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23 Ihr aber, seht euch vor! Ich habe euch alles vorausgesagt.	23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
24 Aber in jenen Tagen, nach der großen Not, wird sich die Sonne verfinstern und der Mond wird nicht mehr scheinen;	24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 die Sterne werden vom Himmel fallen und die Kräfte des Himmels werden erschüttert werden.	25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 Dann wird man den Menschensohn mit großer Macht und Herrlichkeit auf den Wolken kommen sehen.	26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 Und er wird die Engel aussenden und die von ihm Auserwählten aus allen vier Windrichtungen zusammenführen, vom Ende der Erde bis zum Ende des Himmels.	27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
28 Lernt etwas aus dem Vergleich mit dem Feigenbaum! Sobald seine Zweige saftig werden und Blätter treiben, wisst ihr, dass der Sommer nahe ist.	28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 Genauso sollt ihr erkennen, wenn ihr (all) das geschehen seht, dass das Ende vor der Tür steht.	29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Amen, ich sage euch: Diese Generation wird nicht vergehen, bis das alles eintrifft.	30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Himmel und Erde werden vergehen, aber meine Worte werden nicht vergehen.	31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 Doch jenen Tag und jene Stunde kennt niemand, auch nicht die Engel im Himmel, nicht einmal der Sohn, sondern nur der Vater.	32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Seht euch also vor und bleibt wach! Denn ihr wisst nicht, wann die Zeit da ist.	33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 Es ist wie mit einem Mann, der sein Haus verließ, um auf Reisen zu gehen: Er übertrug alle Verantwortung seinen Dienern, jedem eine bestimmte Aufgabe; dem Türhüter befahl er, wachsam zu sein.	34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Seid also wachsam! Denn ihr wisst nicht, wann der Hausherr kommt, ob am Abend oder um Mitternacht, ob beim Hahnenschrei oder erst am Morgen.	35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Er soll euch, wenn er plötzlich kommt, nicht schlafend antreffen.	36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 Was ich aber euch sage, das sage ich allen: Seid wachsam!	37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
