EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 Dann mach aus Akazienholz den Altar, fünf Ellen lang und fünf Ellen breit - der Altar soll also quadratisch sein - und drei Ellen hoch.	1 "You shall make an altar of acacia wood, on a square, five cubits long and five cubits wide; it shall be three cubits high.
2 Mach ihm Hörner an seinen vier Ecken - seine Hörner sollen mit ihm ein Ganzes bilden - und überzieh ihn mit Kupfer!	2 At the four corners there are to be horns, so made that they spring directly from the altar. You shall then plate it with bronze.
3 Stell auch die Gefäße her für seine Fett-Asche, seine Schaufeln und Schalen, seine Gabeln und Feuerpfannen! Alle seine Geräte sollst du aus Kupfer herstellen.	3 Make pots for removing the ashes, as well as shovels, basins, forks and fire pans, all of which shall be of bronze.
4 Mach für den Altar ein Gitterwerk, ein Netzgitter aus Kupfer, und befestige am Netzgitter vier Kupferringe, und zwar an seinen vier Enden!	4 Make a grating of bronze network for it; this to have four bronze rings, one at each of its four corners.
5 Bring das Gitterwerk unterhalb der Altareinfassung unten an! Das Netzgitter soll bis zur Mitte des Altars reichen.	5 Put it down around the altar, on the ground. This network is to be half as high as the altar.
6 Verfertige für den Altar Stangen - Stangen aus Akazienholz - und überzieh sie mit Kupfer!	6 You shall also make poles of acacia wood for the altar, and plate them with bronze.
7 Man soll die Stangen in die Ringe stecken, und zwar sollen die Stangen an beiden Seiten des Altars angebracht sein, wenn man ihn trägt.	7 These poles are to be put through the rings, so that they are on either side of the altar when it is carried.
8 Mach ihn hohl, aus Brettern! Wie man es dir auf dem Berg gezeigt hat, so soll man es ausführen.	8 Make the altar itself in the form of a hollow box, just as it was shown you on the mountain.
9 Dann mach den Vorhof der Wohnstätte: für die Südseite die Behänge des Vorhofs aus gezwirntem Byssus, hundert Ellen lang für eine Seite,	9 "You shall also make a court for the Dwelling. On the south side the court shall have hangings a hundred cubits long, woven of fine linen twined,
10 seine zwanzig Säulen und deren zwanzig Sockel aus Kupfer, die Nägel der Säulen und deren Querstangen aus Silber;	10 with twenty columns and twenty pedestals of bronze; the hooks and bands on the columns shall be of silver.
11 ebenso für die nördliche Längsseite Behänge, hundert Ellen lang, ihre zwanzig Säulen und deren zwanzig Sockel aus Kupfer, die Nägel der Säulen und deren Querstangen aus Silber;	11 On the north side there shall be similar hangings, a hundred cubits long, with twenty columns and twenty pedestals of bronze; the hooks and bands on the columns shall be of silver.
12 für die Breitseite des Vorhofs im Westen Behänge von fünfzig Ellen, ihre zehn Säulen und deren Sockel.	12 On the west side, across the width of the court, there shall be hangings, fifty cubits long, with ten columns and ten pedestals.
13 Der Vorhof an der Ostseite soll fünfzig Ellen breit sein,	13 The width of the court on the east side shall be fifty cubits.
14 und zwar fünfzehn Ellen Behänge für die eine Seitenwand mit ihren drei Säulen und deren drei Sockel;	14 On one side there shall be hangings to the extent of fifteen cubits, with three columns and three pedestals;
15 für die andere Seitenwand ebenso fünfzehn Ellen Behänge mit ihren drei Säulen und deren drei Sockel;	15 on the other side there shall be hangings to the extent of fifteen cubits, with three columns and three pedestals.
16 für das Tor des Vorhofs als Buntwirkerarbeit einen Vorhang von zwanzig Ellen aus violettem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus, mit ihren vier Säulen und deren vier Sockeln;	16 "At the entrance of the court there shall be a variegated curtain, twenty cubits long, woven of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and of fine linen twined. It shall have four columns and four pedestals.
17 alle Säulen des Vorhofs ringsum mit Querstangen aus Silber sowie ihre Nägel aus Silber und ihre Sockel aus Kupfer.	17 "All the columns around the court shall have bands and hooks of silver, and pedestals of bronze.
18 Der Vorhof soll hundert Ellen lang, fünfzig Ellen breit und fünf Ellen hoch sein, die Behänge aus gezwirntem Byssus, ihre Sockel aus Kupfer.	18 The enclosure of the court is to be one hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and five cubits high. Fine linen twined must be used, and the pedestals must be of bronze.
19 Alle Geräte der Wohnstätte, die darin zu irgendeinem Dienst verwendet werden, alle ihre Zeltpflöcke und alle Zeltpflöcke des Vorhofs sollen aus Kupfer sein.	19 All the fittings of the Dwelling, whatever be their use, as well as all its tent pegs and all the tent pegs of the court, must be of bronze.
20 Du aber befiehl den Israeliten, dass sie dir reines Öl aus gestoßenen Oliven für den Leuchter liefern, damit immer Licht brennt.	20 "You shall order the Israelites to bring you clear oil of crushed olives, to be used for the light, so that you may keep lamps burning regularly.
21 Im Offenbarungszelt außerhalb des Vorhangs vor der Bundesurkunde sollen es Aaron und seine Söhne zurichten; es soll vom Abend bis zum Morgen vor dem Herrn brennen, als eine ständig eingehaltene Verpflichtung bei den Israeliten von Generation zu Generation.	21 From evening to morning Aaron and his sons shall maintain them before the LORD in the meeting tent, outside the veil which hangs in front of the commandments. This shall be a perpetual ordinance for the Israelites throughout their generations.
