1 Del maestro de coro. Para instrumentos de cuerda, Salmo de David.	1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my right! Thou hast given me room when I was in distress. Be gracious to me, and hear my prayer.
2 Respóndeme cuando te invoco, Dios, mi defensor, tú, que en la angustia me diste un desahogo: ten piedad de mí y escucha mi oración.	2 O men, how long shall my honor suffer shame? How long will you love vain words, and seek after lies? [Selah]
3 Y ustedes, señores, ¿hasta cuando ultrajarán al que es mi Gloria, amarán lo que falso y buscarán lo engañoso?	3 But know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD hears when I call to him.
4 Sepan que el Señor hizo maravillas por su amigo: él me escucha siempre que lo invoco.	4 Be angry, but sin not; commune with your own hearts on your beds, and be silent. [Selah]
5 Tiemblen, y no pequen más; reflexionen en sus lechos y guarden silencio,	5 Offer right sacrifices, and put your trust in the LORD.
6 ofrezcan los sacrificios que son debidos y tengan confianza en el Señor.	6 There are many who say, "O that we might see some good! Lift up the light of thy countenance upon us, O LORD!"
7 Hay muchos que preguntan: «¿Quién nos mostrará la felicidad, si la luz de tu rostro, Señor, se ha alejado de nosotros?».	7 Thou hast put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.
8 Pero tú has puesto en mi corazón más alegría que cuando abundan el trigo y el vino.	8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for thou alone, O LORD, makest me dwell in safety.
9 Me acuesto en paz y en seguida me duermo, porque sólo tú, Señor, aseguras mi descanso.
