EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Del maestro de coro. Para instrumentos de cuerda, Salmo de David.	1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2 Respóndeme cuando te invoco, Dios, mi defensor, tú, que en la angustia me diste un desahogo: ten piedad de mí y escucha mi oración.	2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
3 Y ustedes, señores, ¿hasta cuando ultrajarán al que es mi Gloria, amarán lo que falso y buscarán lo engañoso?	3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
4 Sepan que el Señor hizo maravillas por su amigo: él me escucha siempre que lo invoco.	4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5 Tiemblen, y no pequen más; reflexionen en sus lechos y guarden silencio,	5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
6 ofrezcan los sacrificios que son debidos y tengan confianza en el Señor.	6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
7 Hay muchos que preguntan: «¿Quién nos mostrará la felicidad, si la luz de tu rostro, Señor, se ha alejado de nosotros?».	7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
8 Pero tú has puesto en mi corazón más alegría que cuando abundan el trigo y el vino.	8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
9 Me acuesto en paz y en seguida me duermo, porque sólo tú, Señor, aseguras mi descanso.
