1 Le divisioni de' portieri: di quelli di Core; Meselemia figliuolo di Core, de' figliuoli di Asaf.	1 Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2 I figliuoli di Meselemia: Zacaria primogenito, Iadiel secondo, Zabadia terzo, Iatanael quarto,	2 And the sons of Meshelemiah were, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 Elam quinto, Ioanan sesto, Elioenai settimo.	3 Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
4 E i figliuoli di Obededom: Semeia primogenito, Iozabab secondo, Ioaa terzo, Sacar quarto, Natanael quinto,	4 Moreover the sons of Obed-edom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,
5 Ammiel sesto, Issacar settimo, Follati ottavo; però [che] il benedisse Iddio.	5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.
6 E a Semei suo figliuolo nascerono figliuoli prefetti delle famiglie loro; ed erano uomini fortissimi.	6 Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.
7 E i figliuoli di Semeia: Otni e Rafael e Obed Elzabad e' suoi fratelli, uomini fortissimi; ed Eliu e Samachia.	7 The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
8 Tutti questi, de' figliuoli di Obededom; loro e i loro figliuoli e fratelli fortissimi a ministrare; LXII di Obededom.	8 All these of the sons of Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obed-edom.
9 E i figliuoli di Meselemia e i suoi fratelli, robustissimi, XVIII.	9 And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.
10 E di Osa, cioè de' figliuoli di Merari: Semri principe; però che non avea primogenito, e però il padre suo l' avea posto principe;	10 Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)
11 Elcia il secondo, Tabelia il terzo, Zacaria il quarto; tutti questi figliuoli e fratelli di Osa, tredici.	11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
12 Questi furono partiti in portieri, sì che tut· tavia i prìncipi (delle porte e) delle guardie ministrassero nel tempio di Dio, come i loro fratelli.	12 Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13 Onde furono messe le sorti egualmente, a' piccioli e a' grandi, per le famiglie loro, [in] ciascuna porta.	13 And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.
14 E cadde la sorte della porta orientale a Selemia; e a Zacaria suo figliuolo, uomo prudentissimo e ammaestrato, messe le sorti, vennegli la porta del settentrione.	14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counseller, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15 E a Obededom e a' suoi figliuoli alla parte australe; alla quale parte era la casa del concilio degli antichi.	15 To Obed-edom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.
16 E a Sefim e a Osa ad occidente, presso alla porta che mena alla via della montata (della quercia); guardia contra guardia.	16 To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.
17 E ad oriente (sia) sei Leviti, ad aquilone quattro al dì, e al mezzodì somigliantemente quattro al dì; e dove ch' era il concilio, due e due.	17 Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
18 E nelle celle de' portieri ad occidente quattro nella via, e per ciascuna cella due.	18 At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.
19 Queste sono le divisioni de' portieri, de' figliuoli di Core e di Merari.	19 These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
20 E Achia era sopra gli tesori della casa di Dio, e sopra le vasa de' santi.	20 And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
21 I figliuoli di Ledan figliuolo di Gersonni : di Ledan principi delle famiglie, Ledan e Gersonni: Ieieli.	21 As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.
22 Figliuoli di Ieieli: Zatan e Ioel, suoi fratelli, sopra il tesoro della casa di Dio,	22 The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the house of the LORD.
23 agli Amramiti e Isaariti ed Ebroniti e Ozieliti.	23 Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:
24 Subael figliuolo di Gersom, figliuolo di Moisè, preposto al tesoro.	24 And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.
25 I suoi fratelli Eliezer, figliuolo del quale fu Raabia, e figliuolo di questo Isaia, e figliuolo di questo Ioram; figliuolo di questo Zecri, e figliuolo di questo Selemit.	25 And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
26 Egli Selemit, e i suoi fratelli, sopra il tesoro de' santi, i quali santificoe il re David, e' prìncipi delle famiglie, tribuni e' centurioni e' duchi dello esercito,	26 Which Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
27 delle battaglie e de' manubii delle battaglie, li quali aveano consecrati a restaurazione e per la masserizia del tempio del Signore.	27 Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.
28 E tutte queste cose santificò Samuel vidente, e Saul figliuolo di Cis, e Abner figliuolo di Ner, e Ioab figliuolo di Sarvia; tutti quegli che gli aveano santificati per mano di Selemit e de' suoi fralelli.	28 And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
29 Agli Isaariti era preposto Conenia, e i suoi figliuoli, all' opere di fuori sopra Israel, ad insegnare e a giudicarli.	29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 E degli Ebroniti, Asabia (e Sabia) e' suoi fratelli, uomini fortissimi, mille settecento erano soprastanti in Israel oltre il Giordano contro occidente; in tutti i lavorii del Signore, e nel ministerio del re.	30 And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king.
31 Il principe degli Ebroniti fu Ieria, secondo le loro famiglie e cognazioni. Nel XL anno del regno di David furono richiesti e trovati, in Iazer di Galaad, uomini fortissimi,	31 Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
32 e suoi fratelli di più robusta età, duemilia settecento principi delle famiglie. E re David gli prepose a' Rubeniti e a' Gadditi e alla mezza tribù di Manasse, in tutto il ministerio di Dio e del re.	32 And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.
