1 Aleluia. Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo, ressoe o seu louvor na assembléia dos fiéis.	1 Alleluia. Sing to the Lord a new song. His praise is in the Church of the saints.
2 Alegre-se Israel em seu criador, exultem em seu rei os filhos de Sião.	2 Let Israel rejoice in him who made them, and let the sons of Zion exult in their king.
3 Em coros louvem o seu nome, cantem-lhe salmos com o tambor e a cítara,	3 Let them praise his name in chorus. Let them sing psalms to him with the timbrel and the psaltery.
4 porque o Senhor ama o seu povo, e dá aos humildes a honra da vitória.	4 For the Lord is well pleased with his people, and he will exalt the meek unto salvation.
5 Exultem os fiéis na glória, alegrem-se em seus leitos.	5 The saints will exult in glory. They will rejoice upon their couches.
6 Tenham nos lábios o louvor de Deus, e nas mãos a espada de dois gumes,	6 The exultations of God will be in their throat, and two-edged swords will be in their hands:
7 para tirar vingança das nações pagãs, e impor castigos aos povos;	7 to obtain vindication among the nations, chastisements among the peoples,
8 para lançar em ferros os seus reis, e pôr algemas em seus príncipes,	8 to bind their kings with shackles and their nobles with manacles of iron,
9 executando contra eles o julgamento pronunciado. Tal é a glória reservada a todos os seus fiéis.	9 to obtain judgment over them, as it has been written. This is glory for all his saints. Alleluia.
