LA SACRA BIBBIA	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Al maestro di coro. Sulle corde. Maskil. Di Davide.	1 Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
2 Ascolta, o Dio, la mia preghiera e non ti nascondere dalla mia implorazione;	2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;
3 prestami attenzione ed esaudiscimi: sono in ansia nella mia tristezza e sono turbato	3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
4 alle grida del nemico, al clamore del malvagio; poiché essi fanno cadere su di me sventure e con rabbia mi avversano.	4 My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
5 Il mio cuore trema nel mio petto, e terrori di morte si sono abbattuti su di me.	5 Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.
6 Timore e tremore vengono dentro di me e l'orrore mi sommerge.	6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
7 Per questo dico: "Oh, se avessi le ali! Come aquila volerei in cerca di riposo.	7 Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.
8 Ecco: lontano fuggirei per starmene nel deserto.	8 I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.
9 Vorrei là fuggire dov'è per me uno scampo, al riparo dal vento che infuria, lontano da ogni tempesta".	9 Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
10 Disperdili, o Signore, confondi le loro lingue, poiché violenza vedo e rissa nella città;	10 Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.
11 giorno e notte la circondano al di sopra delle sue mura, in essa regnano malvagità e nequizia.	11 Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
12 Insidie regnano nel suo interno e non si allontanano dalla sua piazza oppressione e frode.	12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
13 Certo, non è un nemico che m'insulta: lo potrei sopportare. Non è chi mi odia che su di me s'inorgoglisce: mi potrei nascondere da lui.	13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
14 Ma tu, uomo a me pari, a me amico e familiare...	14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
15 Un dolce colloquio era fra noi, in letizia camminavamo nella casa di Dio.	15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.
16 S'abbatta la morte su di loro, scendano vivi negli inferi, poiché v'è nequizia dentro le loro dimore.	16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.
17 Io invoco il Signore ed egli mi salverà.	17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 Sera e mattino e mezzodì voglio gemere e sospirare, affinché oda la mia voce;	18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
19 riscatterà in pace l'anima mia da coloro che mi assalgono, poiché in molti si sono levati contro di me.	19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
20 Ascolterà Dio e li umilierà egli che troneggia dall'eternità; poiché non ci sono per loro mutamenti: non temono Dio.	20 He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.
21 Alzò le sue mani contro i suoi alleati, infranse il suo patto.	21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.
22 Morbida più che burro è la sua bocca, guerra è invece nel suo cuore; molli sono le sue parole più che olio, esse invece sono spade affilate.	22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
23 Getta sul Signore il tuo affanno, ed egli ti sosterrà: non lascerà che in eterno vacilli il giusto.	23 But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
24 E tu, o Dio, li farai discendere nel profondo della fossa, gli uomini di sangue e di frode non raggiungeranno la metà dei loro giorni. Io invece mi voglio rifugiare in te.
