1 Celebrate il Signore, perché è buono, eterna è la sua misericordia.	1 Give thanks to the LORD, who is good, whose love endures forever.
2 Dica Israele: "Eterna è la sua misericordia".	2 Let the house of Israel say: God's love endures forever.
3 Dica la casa di Aronne: "Eterna è la sua misericordia".	3 Let the house of Aaron say, God's love endures forever.
4 Dicano quelli che temono il Signore: "Eterna è la sua misericordia".	4 Let those who fear the LORD say, God's love endures forever.
5 Nell'angoscia ho gridato al Signore: egli mi ha risposto e mi ha tratto al largo.	5 In danger I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free.
6 Il Signore è per me: non avrò timore; cosa può farmi un uomo?	6 The LORD is with me; I am not afraid; what can mortals do against me?
7 Il Signore è per me quale aiuto: potrò sfidare quelli che mi odiano.	7 The LORD is with me as my helper; I shall look in triumph on my foes.
8 E' bene rifugiarsi nel Signore, anziché confidare nell'uomo.	8 Better to take refuge in the LORD than to put one's trust in mortals.
9 E' bene rifugiarsi nel Signore, anziché confidare nei potenti.	9 Better to take refuge in the LORD than to put one's trust in princes.
10 Tutte le genti mi avevano circondato, ma nel nome del Signore li ho sconfitti.	10 All the nations surrounded me; in the LORD'S name I crushed them.
11 Mi avevano circondato, mi avevano accerchiato, ma nel nome del Signore li ho sconfitti.	11 They surrounded me on every side; in the LORD'S name I crushed them.
12 Mi avevano circondato come api divamparono come fuoco fra le spine ma nel nome del Signore li ho sconfitti.	12 They surrounded me like bees; they blazed like fire among thorns; in the LORD'S name I crushed them.
13 Venni spinto con forza perché io cadessi; ma il Signore è venuto in mio aiuto.	13 I was hard pressed and falling, but the LORD came to my help.
14 Mia forza e mio canto è il Signore, egli si è fatto salvezza per me.	14 The LORD, my strength and might, came to me as savior.
15 Grida di giubilo e di vittoria nelle tende dei giusti!	15 The joyful shout of deliverance is heard in the tents of the victors: "The LORD'S right hand strikes with power;
16 La destra del Signore ha compiuto meraviglie; la destra del Signore s'è elevata, la destra del Signore ha compiuto meraviglie.	16 the LORD'S right hand is raised; the LORD'S right hand strikes with power."
17 Non morrò, resterò in vita, in modo che annunzi le gesta del Signore.	17 I shall not die but live and declare the deeds of the LORD.
18 Duramente il Signore mi ha punito, ma non mi ha consegnato alla morte.	18 The LORD chastised me harshly, but did not hand me over to death.
19 Apritemi le porte della giustizia: voglio entrarvi e render grazie al Signore.	19 Open the gates of victory; I will enter and thank the LORD.
20 Questa è la porta della giustizia: solo i giusti entrano per essa.	20 This is the LORD'S own gate, where the victors enter.
21 Ti rendo grazie, poiché mi hai esaudito, e ti sei fatto salvezza per me.	21 I thank you for you answered me; you have been my savior.
22 La pietra che scartarono i costruttori è diventata testata d'angolo.	22 The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
23 Da parte del Signore è avvenuto questo; è una meraviglia ai nostri occhi.	23 By the LORD has this been done; it is wonderful in our eyes.
24 Questo è il giorno che ha fatto il Signore: rallegriamoci ed esultiamo in esso.	24 This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice in it and be glad.
25 Orsù, Signore, da' la salvezza; orsù, Signore, dona la vittoria!	25 LORD, grant salvation! LORD, grant good fortune!
26 Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore; vi benediciamo dalla casa del Signore.	26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD. We bless you from the LORD'S house.
27 Dio è il Signore e ci ha illuminati. Ordinate il corteo con rami frondosi fino ai lati dell'altare.	27 The LORD is God and has given us light. Join in procession with leafy branches up to the horns of the altar.
28 Tu sei il mio Dio e ti rendo grazie; sei il mio Dio, e ti esalto.	28 You are my God, I give you thanks; my God, I offer you praise.
