1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: When you will have entered into the land of your habitation, which I will give you,	2 «Parla agli Israeliti dicendo loro: “Quando sarete entrati nella terra che dovrete abitare e che io sto per darvi,
3 and you make an offering to the Lord, as a holocaust or as a victim, paying your vows, or as a voluntary offering of gifts, or in your solemnities, burning a sweet odor to the Lord, whether from the oxen or from the sheep:	3 e offrirete al Signore un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, olocausto o sacrificio, per soddisfare un voto o per un’offerta spontanea o nelle vostre solennità, per offrire un profumo gradito al Signore con il vostro bestiame grosso o minuto,
4 whoever immolates the victim shall offer a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, the tenth part of an ephah, sprinkled with oil, which shall have the measure of the fourth part of a hin,	4 colui che presenterà l’offerta al Signore offrirà in oblazione un decimo di efa di fior di farina, impastata con un quarto di hin di olio,
5 and he shall give the same measure of wine, poured out as libations, whether as a holocaust or as a victim.	5 e vino come libagione, un quarto di hin: lo aggiungerai all’olocausto o al sacrificio, per ogni agnello.
6 With each lamb and each ram, there shall be a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, of two tenths, which shall be sprinkled with one third part of a hin of oil.	6 Se è per un ariete, offrirai in oblazione due decimi di efa di fior di farina, impastata con un terzo di hin di olio,
7 And he shall offer the same measure, one third part of wine, for the libation, as a sweet odor to the Lord.	7 e vino in libagione, un terzo di hin: l’offrirai come profumo gradito al Signore.
8 Yet truly, when you will offer, from the oxen, a holocaust or a victim, in order to fulfill your vow or for peace-offering victims,	8 Se offri un giovenco in olocausto o in sacrificio per soddisfare un voto o in sacrificio di comunione al Signore,
9 you shall give, for each ox, three tenths of fine wheat flour, sprinkled with oil, which has the measure of one half of one hin,	9 oltre al giovenco si offrirà un’oblazione di tre decimi di efa di fior di farina, impastata in mezzo hin di olio,
10 and the wine, poured out as libations, shall be of the same measure, as an oblation of most sweet odor to the Lord.	10 e offrirai vino in libagione, un mezzo hin di vino; è un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo gradito al Signore.
11 So shall you do	11 Così si farà per ogni giovenco, per ogni ariete, per ogni agnello o capretto.
12 for each ox, and ram, and lamb, and young goat.	12 Secondo il numero degli animali che immolerete, farete così per ciascuna vittima.
13 Both natives and sojourners	13 Quanti sono nativi della terra faranno così, per offrire un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo gradito al Signore.
14 shall offer sacrifices by the same rituals.	14 Se uno straniero che dimora da voi, o chiunque abiterà in mezzo a voi, di generazione in generazione, offrirà un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo gradito al Signore, farà come fate voi.
15 There shall be one precept and one judgment, as much for yourselves as for newcomers to the land.”	15 Vi sarà una sola legge per l’assemblea, sia per voi sia per lo straniero che dimora in mezzo a voi, una legge perenne, di generazione in generazione; come siete voi, così sarà lo straniero davanti al Signore.
16 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	16 Ci sarà una stessa legge e una stessa regola per voi e per lo straniero che dimora presso di voi”».
17 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them:	17 Il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè dicendo:
18 When you will arrive in the land which I will give to you,	18 «Parla agli Israeliti e di’ loro: “Quando entrerete nella terra in cui io vi conduco
19 and when you will eat from the bread of that region, you shall separate the first-fruits to the Lord	19 e mangerete il pane di quella terra, ne preleverete un’offerta da presentare al Signore.
20 from the foods that you eat. Just as you separate the first-fruits of your threshing floors,	20 Dalle primizie della vostra pasta preleverete una focaccia come contributo: la preleverete come si preleva il contributo per l’aia.
21 so also shall you give the first-fruits of your cooked grains to the Lord.	21 Delle primizie della vostra pasta darete al Signore un contributo, di generazione in generazione.
22 And if, through ignorance, you neglect any of these things, which the Lord has spoken to Moses,	22 Se avrete mancato per inavvertenza e non avrete osservato tutti questi comandi che il Signore ha dato a Mosè,
23 and which he has commanded through him for you, from the day that he began to command and thereafter,	23 quanto il Signore vi ha comandato per mezzo di Mosè, dal giorno in cui il Signore vi ha dato comandi e in seguito, di generazione in generazione,
24 and if the multitude will have forgotten to do it, then they shall offer a calf from the herd, a holocaust as a most sweet odor to the Lord, and its sacrifice and libations, just as the ceremonies ask, and a he-goat for sin.	24 se il peccato è stato commesso per inavvertenza da parte della comunità, senza che la comunità se ne sia accorta, tutta la comunità offrirà un giovenco come olocausto di profumo gradito al Signore, con la sua oblazione e la sua libagione secondo la regola, e un capro come sacrificio espiatorio.
25 And the priest shall pray for the entire multitude of the sons of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, because they did not sin willfully. Nevertheless, they shall offer incense to the Lord for themselves, and for sin, as well as for their error.	25 Il sacerdote compirà il rito espiatorio per tutta la comunità degli Israeliti, e sarà loro perdonato; è un’inavvertenza ed essi hanno portato l’offerta, il sacrificio consumato dal fuoco in onore del Signore, e il loro sacrificio per il peccato davanti al Signore, per la loro inavvertenza.
26 And it shall be forgiven all the people of the sons of Israel, as well as the newcomers who sojourn among them, for it is the culpability of all the people through neglect.	26 Sarà perdonato a tutta la comunità degli Israeliti e allo straniero che dimora in mezzo a loro, perché tutto il popolo ha peccato per inavvertenza.
27 But if one soul will have sinned by not knowing, he shall offer a one-year-old she-goat for his sin.	27 Se è una persona sola che ha peccato per inavvertenza, offra una capra di un anno come sacrificio per il peccato.
28 And the priest shall pray for him, because he sinned unknowingly before the Lord. And he shall obtain pardon for him, and it will be forgiven him.	28 Il sacerdote compirà il rito espiatorio davanti al Signore per la persona che avrà peccato per inavvertenza; quando avrà fatto l’espiazione per essa, le sarà perdonato.
29 One law shall be for all who sin by ignorance, as much for natives as for newcomers.	29 Sia per un nativo della terra tra gli Israeliti sia per uno straniero che dimora in mezzo a loro, avrete un’unica legge per colui che pecca per inavvertenza.
30 Yet truly, the soul who commits any of these acts through arrogance, whether he is a citizen or a sojourner, because he has rebelled against the Lord, shall perish from among his people.	30 Ma la persona che agisce con deliberazione, nativa della terra o straniera, insulta il Signore; essa sarà eliminata dal suo popolo.
31 For he has despised the word of the Lord, and he has nullified his precept. For this reason, he shall be destroyed, and he shall bear his iniquity.”	31 Poiché ha disprezzato la parola del Signore e ha violato il suo comando, quella persona dovrà essere assolutamente eliminata; la colpa è su di lei”».
32 And it happened that, when the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, and they had found a man collecting wood on the day of the Sabbath,	32 Mentre gli Israeliti erano nel deserto, trovarono un uomo che raccoglieva legna in giorno di sabato.
33 they brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole multitude.	33 Quelli che l’avevano trovato a raccogliere legna, lo condussero a Mosè, ad Aronne e a tutta la comunità.
34 And they enclosed him in a prison, not knowing what they should do with him.	34 Lo misero sotto sorveglianza, perché non era stato ancora stabilito che cosa gli si dovesse fare.
35 And the Lord said to Moses, “Let that man be put to death; let the entire crowd crush him with stones, outside the camp.”	35 Il Signore disse a Mosè: «Quell’uomo deve essere messo a morte; tutta la comunità lo lapiderà fuori dell’accampamento».
36 And when they had led him out, they overwhelmed him with stones, and he died, just as the Lord had instructed.	36 Tutta la comunità lo condusse fuori dell’accampamento e lo lapidò; quello morì secondo il comando che il Signore aveva dato a Mosè.
37 The Lord also said to Moses:	37 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:
38 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall tell them to make for themselves hems at the corners of their cloaks, placing in them ribbons of hyacinth,	38 «Parla agli Israeliti dicendo loro che si facciano, di generazione in generazione, una frangia ai lembi delle loro vesti e che mettano sulla frangia del lembo un cordone di porpora viola.
39 so that, when they see these, they may remember all the commandments of the Lord, and they may not follow their own thoughts and eyes, fornicating in various ways,	39 Avrete tali frange e, quando le guarderete, vi ricorderete di tutti i comandi del Signore e li eseguirete; non andrete vagando dietro il vostro cuore e i vostri occhi, seguendo i quali vi prostituireste.
40 but instead, they, being more mindful of the precepts of the Lord, may do them and may be holy to their God.	40 Così vi ricorderete di tutti i miei comandi, li metterete in pratica e sarete santi per il vostro Dio.
41 I am the Lord your God, who led you away from the land of Egypt, so that I may be your God.”	41 Io sono il Signore, vostro Dio, che vi ho fatto uscire dalla terra d’Egitto per essere il vostro Dio. Io sono il Signore, vostro Dio».
