1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Habló Yahveh a Moisés y le dijo:
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: When you will have entered into the land of your habitation, which I will give you,	2 «Habla a los israelitas y diles: Cuando entréis en la tierra que yo os daré por morada,
3 and you make an offering to the Lord, as a holocaust or as a victim, paying your vows, or as a voluntary offering of gifts, or in your solemnities, burning a sweet odor to the Lord, whether from the oxen or from the sheep:	3 y ofrezcáis manjares abrasados a Yahveh en holocausto o sacrificio, para cumplir un voto, o como ofrenda voluntaria o con ocasión de vuestras fiestas, ofreciendo así, de vuestros bueyes u ovejas, calmante aroma para Yahveh,
4 whoever immolates the victim shall offer a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, the tenth part of an ephah, sprinkled with oil, which shall have the measure of the fourth part of a hin,	4 el oferente presentará, para su ofrenda a Yahveh, una oblación de una décima de flor de harina amasada con un cuarto de sextario de aceite.
5 and he shall give the same measure of wine, poured out as libations, whether as a holocaust or as a victim.	5 Harás una libación de un cuarto de sextario de vino por cada cordero, además del holocausto o sacrificio.
6 With each lamb and each ram, there shall be a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, of two tenths, which shall be sprinkled with one third part of a hin of oil.	6 Si es un carnero, la oblación será de dos décimas de flor de harina amasada con un tercio de sextario de aceite,
7 And he shall offer the same measure, one third part of wine, for the libation, as a sweet odor to the Lord.	7 y la libación, de un tercio de sextario de vino, que ofrecerás como calmante aroma para Yahveh.
8 Yet truly, when you will offer, from the oxen, a holocaust or a victim, in order to fulfill your vow or for peace-offering victims,	8 Y si ofreces a Yahveh un novillo en holocausto o sacrificio, para cumplir un voto, o como sacrificio de comunión,
9 you shall give, for each ox, three tenths of fine wheat flour, sprinkled with oil, which has the measure of one half of one hin,	9 se ofrecerá además del novillo una oblación de tres décimas de flor de harina amasada con medio sextario de aceite,
10 and the wine, poured out as libations, shall be of the same measure, as an oblation of most sweet odor to the Lord.	10 y una libación de medio sextario de vino, como manjar abrasado de calmante aroma para Yahveh.
11 So shall you do	11 Así se hará con nada novillo y con las reses menores, cordero o cabrito.
12 for each ox, and ram, and lamb, and young goat.	12 Haréis así con cada uno de los que inmoléis, con tantos como hubiere.
13 Both natives and sojourners	13 Así hará todo hombre de vuestro pueblo, cuando ofrezca un manjar abrasado como calmante aroma para Yahveh.
14 shall offer sacrifices by the same rituals.	14 Si reside entre vosotros o entre vuestros descendientes un forastero, y ofrece un manjar abrasado como calmante aroma para Yahveh, lo mismo que vosotros hará
15 There shall be one precept and one judgment, as much for yourselves as for newcomers to the land.”	15 la asamblea. No habrá más que una norma para vosotros y para el forastero residente. Es decreto perpetuo para vuestros descendientes: igual será delante de Yahveh para vosotros que para el forastero.
16 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	16 Una sola ley y una sola norma regirá para vosotros y para el forastero que reside entre vosotros.»
17 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them:	17 Yahveh habló así a Moisés:
18 When you will arrive in the land which I will give to you,	18 «Habla a los israelitas y diles: Cuando entréis en la tierra a la que os voy a llevar,
19 and when you will eat from the bread of that region, you shall separate the first-fruits to the Lord	19 y comáis el pan del país, reservaréis primero la ofrenda para Yahveh.
20 from the foods that you eat. Just as you separate the first-fruits of your threshing floors,	20 Como primicias de vuestra molienda reservaréis como ofrenda una torta; la reservaréis igual que se hace en la era.
21 so also shall you give the first-fruits of your cooked grains to the Lord.	21 Reservaréis a Yahveh una ofrenda de las primicias de vuestra molienda, por todas vuestras generaciones.
22 And if, through ignorance, you neglect any of these things, which the Lord has spoken to Moses,	22 «Cuando por inadvertencia no cumpláis alguno de estos preceptos que Yahveh ha comunicado a Moisés,
23 and which he has commanded through him for you, from the day that he began to command and thereafter,	23 algo de lo que os ha mandado Yahveh por medio de Moisés, desde que Yahveh lo ordenó en adelante, por todas vuestras generaciones,
24 and if the multitude will have forgotten to do it, then they shall offer a calf from the herd, a holocaust as a most sweet odor to the Lord, and its sacrifice and libations, just as the ceremonies ask, and a he-goat for sin.	24 en el caso de que la inadvertencia se haya cometido por descuido de la comunidad, toda la comunidad ofrecerá un novillo en holocausto, como calmante aroma para Yahveh, con su correspondiente oblación y libación según costumbre, y un macho cabrío en sacrificio por el pecado.
25 And the priest shall pray for the entire multitude of the sons of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, because they did not sin willfully. Nevertheless, they shall offer incense to the Lord for themselves, and for sin, as well as for their error.	25 El sacerdote expiará por toda la comunidad de los israelitas, y se les perdonará, porque ha sido un descuido. Cuando presenten sus ofrendas, como manjar abrasado a Yahveh, y su sacrificio por el pecado delante de Yahveh por su descuido,
26 And it shall be forgiven all the people of the sons of Israel, as well as the newcomers who sojourn among them, for it is the culpability of all the people through neglect.	26 se le perdonará a la comunidad de los israelitas y al forastero que reside entre ellos, pues el pueblo entero lo ha hecho por inadvertencia.
27 But if one soul will have sinned by not knowing, he shall offer a one-year-old she-goat for his sin.	27 En el caso de que una sola persona haya pecado por inadvertencia, ofrecerá en sacrificio por el pecado una cabrita de un año.
28 And the priest shall pray for him, because he sinned unknowingly before the Lord. And he shall obtain pardon for him, and it will be forgiven him.	28 El sacerdote expiará delante de Yahveh por la persona que se ha descuidado con ese pecado de inadvertencia; cuando se haga expiación por ella, se le perdonará,
29 One law shall be for all who sin by ignorance, as much for natives as for newcomers.	29 lo mismo al ciudadano israelita que al forastero residente entre vosotros: no tendréis más que una sola ley para el que obra por inadvertencia.
30 Yet truly, the soul who commits any of these acts through arrogance, whether he is a citizen or a sojourner, because he has rebelled against the Lord, shall perish from among his people.	30 Pero el que obra con descaro, sea ciudadano o forastero, ultraja a Yahveh. Tal individuo será extirpado de su pueblo,
31 For he has despised the word of the Lord, and he has nullified his precept. For this reason, he shall be destroyed, and he shall bear his iniquity.”	31 por haber despreciado la palabra de Yahveh, quebrantado su mandato. Será exterminado tal individuo: su pecado pesa sobre él.»
32 And it happened that, when the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, and they had found a man collecting wood on the day of the Sabbath,	32 Cuando los israelitas estaban en el desierto, se encontró a un hombre que andaba buscando leña en día de sábado.
33 they brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole multitude.	33 Los que lo encontraron buscando leña, lo presentaron a Moisés, a Aarón y a toda la comunidad.
34 And they enclosed him in a prison, not knowing what they should do with him.	34 Le pusieron bajo custodia, porque no estaba determinado lo que había que hacer con él.
35 And the Lord said to Moses, “Let that man be put to death; let the entire crowd crush him with stones, outside the camp.”	35 Yahveh dijo a Moisés: «Que muera ese hombre. Que lo apedree toda la comunidad fuera del campamento.»
36 And when they had led him out, they overwhelmed him with stones, and he died, just as the Lord had instructed.	36 Lo sacó toda la comunidad fuera del campamento y lo apedrearon hasta que murió, según había mandado Yahveh a Moisés.
37 The Lord also said to Moses:	37 Yahveh dijo a Moisés:
38 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall tell them to make for themselves hems at the corners of their cloaks, placing in them ribbons of hyacinth,	38 «Habla a los israelitas y diles que ellos y sus descendientes se hagan flecos en los bordes de sus vestidos, y pongan en el fleco de sus vestidos un hilo de púrpura violeta.
39 so that, when they see these, they may remember all the commandments of the Lord, and they may not follow their own thoughts and eyes, fornicating in various ways,	39 Tendréis, pues flecos para que, cuando los veáis, os acordéis de todos los preceptos de Yahveh. Así los cumpliréis y no seguiréis los caprichos de vuestros corazones y de vuestros ojos, que os han arrastrado a prostituiros.
40 but instead, they, being more mindful of the precepts of the Lord, may do them and may be holy to their God.	40 Así os acordaréis de todos mis mandamientos y los cumpliréis, y seréis hombres consagrados a vuestro Dios.
41 I am the Lord your God, who led you away from the land of Egypt, so that I may be your God.”	41 Yo, Yahveh, vuestro Dios, que os saqué de Egipto para ser Dios vuestro. Yo, Yahveh, vuestro Dios.
