KING JAMES BIBLE | VULGATA |
---|---|
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. | 1 Canticum ipsi David, quando domus ædificabatur post captivitatem. Cantate Domino canticum novum ; cantate Domino omnis terra. |
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. | 2 Cantate Domino, et benedicite nomini ejus ; annuntiate de die in diem salutare ejus. |
For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. | 3 Annuntiate inter gentes gloriam ejus ; in omnibus populis mirabilia ejus. |
In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. | 4 Quoniam magnus Dominus, et laudabilis nimis : terribilis est super omnes deos. |
The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. | 5 Quoniam omnes dii gentium dæmonia ; Dominus autem cælos fecit. |
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. | 6 Confessio et pulchritudo in conspectu ejus ; sanctimonia et magnificentia in sanctificatione ejus. |
For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, | 7 Afferte Domino, patriæ gentium, afferte Domino gloriam et honorem ; |
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: | 8 afferte Domino gloriam nomini ejus. Tollite hostias, et introite in atria ejus ; |
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. | 9 adorate Dominum in atrio sancto ejus. Commoveatur a facie ejus universa terra ; |
Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: | 10 dicite in gentibus, quia Dominus regnavit. Etenim correxit orbem terræ, qui non commovebitur ; judicabit populos in æquitate. |
Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest. | 11 Lætentur cæli, et exsultet terra ; commoveatur mare et plenitudo ejus ; |
gaudebunt campi, et omnia quæ in eis sunt. Tunc exsultabunt omnia ligna silvarum | |
a facie Domini, quia venit, quoniam venit judicare terram. Judicabit orbem terræ in æquitate, et populos in veritate sua. |
