1 Unto the end, for the servant of God, David himself.	1 Pour la fin, de David, serviteur du Seigneur.
2 The unjust hath said within himself, that he would sin : there is no fear of God before his eyes.	2 L'injuste a dit en lui-même qu'il voulait pécher; * la crainte de Dieu n'est point devant ses yeux.
3 For in his sight he hath done deceitfully, that his iniquity may be found unto hatred.	3 Car il a agi avec tromperie en Sa présence, * afin que son iniquité se trouvât digne de haine.
4 The words of his mouth are iniquity and guile : he would not understand that he might do well.	4 Les paroles de sa bouche sont iniquité et tromperie; * il n'a point voulu devenir intelligent pour faire le bien.
5 He hath devised iniquity on his bed, he hath set himself on every way that is not good : but evil he hath not hated.	5 Il a médité l'iniquité sur sa couche; * il s'est arrêté sur toute voie mauvaise, et il n'a pas eu de haine pour la malice.
6 O Lord, thy mercy is in heaven, and thy truth reacheth, even to the clouds.	6 Seigneur, Votre miséricorde est dans le Ciel, * et Votre vérité s'élève jusqu'aux nues.
7 Thy justice is as the mountains of God, thy judgments are a great deep. Men and beasts thou wilt preserve, O Lord :	7 Votre justice est comme les montagnes de Dieu; * Vos jugements sont un profond abîme. Vous sauverez, Seigneur, les hommes et les bêtes.*
8 O how hast thou multiplied thy mercy, O God! But the children of men shall put their trust under the covert of thy wings.	8 Comme Vous avez multiplié Votre miséricorde, ô Dieu! Mais les enfants des hommes * espéreront, à couvert sous Vos ailes.
9 They shall be inebriated with the plenty of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the torrent of thy pleasure.	9 Ils seront enivrés de l'abondance de Votre maison, * et Vous les ferez boire au torrent de Vos délices.
10 For with thee is the fountain of life; and in thy light we shall see light.	10 Car en Vous est la source de la vie, * et dans Votre lumière nous verrons la lumière.
11 Extend thy mercy to them that know thee, and thy justice to them that are right in heart.	11 Etendez Votre miséricorde sur ceux qui Vous connaissent, * et Votre justice sur ceux qui ont le coeur droit.
12 Let not the foot of pride come to me, and let not the hand of the sinner move me.	12 Que le pied du superbe ne vienne point jusqu'à moi, * et que la main du pécheur ne m'ébranle pas.
13 There the workers of iniquity are fallen, they are cast out, and could not stand.	13 C'est là que sont tombés ceux qui commettent l'iniquité; * ils ont été chassés, et ils n'ont pu se tenir debout.
