1 Ao mestre de canto. Segundo a melodia: “Os lírios”.	1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
2 Salvai-me, ó Deus, porque as águas me vão submergir.	2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 Estou imerso num abismo de lodo, no qual não há onde firmar o pé. Vim a dar em águas profundas, encobrem-me as ondas.	3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
4 Já cansado de tanto gritar, enrouqueceu-me a garganta. Enfraqueceram-se meus olhos, enquanto espero meu Deus.	4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
5 Mais numerosos que os cabelos de minha cabeça são os que me detestam sem razão. São mais fortes que meus ossos os meus injustos inimigos. Porventura posso restituir o que não roubei?	5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6 Vós conheceis, ó Deus, a minha insipiência, e minhas faltas não vos são ocultas.	6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
7 Os que esperam em vós, ó Senhor, Senhor dos exércitos, por minha causa não sejam confundidos. Que os que vos procuram, ó Deus de Israel, não tenham de que se envergonhar por minha causa,	7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:
8 pois foi por vós que eu sofri afrontas, cobrindo-se meu o rosto de confusão.	8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Tornei-me um estranho para meus irmãos, um desconhecido para os filhos de minha mãe.	9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
10 É que o zelo de vossa casa me consumiu, e os insultos dos que vos ultrajam caíram sobre mim.	10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
11 Por mortificar minha alma com jejuns, só recebi ultrajes.	11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
12 Por trocar minhas roupas por um saco, tornei-me zombaria deles.	12 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.
13 Falam de mim os que se assentam às portas da cidade, escarnecem-me os que bebem vinho.	13 Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
14 Minha oração, porém, sobe até vós, Senhor, na hora de vossa misericórdia, ó Deus. Na vossa imensa bondade, escutai-me, segundo a fidelidade de vosso socorro.	14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.
15 Tirai-me do lodo, para que não me afunde. Livrai-me dos que me detestam, salvai-me das águas profundas.	15 The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.
16 Não me deixeis submergir nas muitas águas, nem me devore o abismo. Nem se feche sobre mim a boca do poço.	16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.
17 Ouvi-me, Senhor, pois que vossa bondade é compassiva; em nome de vossa misericórdia, voltai-vos para mim.	17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
18 Não escondais ao vosso servo a vista de vossa face; atendei-me depressa, pois estou muito atormentado.	18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
19 Aproximai-vos de minha alma, livrai-me de meus inimigos.	19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
20 Bem vedes minha vergonha, confusão e ignomínia. Ante vossos olhos estão os que me perseguem:	20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.
21 seus ultrajes abateram meu coração e desfaleci. Esperei em vão quem tivesse compaixão de mim, quem me consolasse, e não encontrei.	21 But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.
22 Puseram fel no meu alimento, na minha sede deram-me vinagre para beber.	22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:
23 Torne-se a sua mesa um laço para eles, e uma armadilha para os seus amigos.	23 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.
24 Que seus olhos se escureçam para não mais ver, que seus passos sejam sempre vacilantes.	24 They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.
25 Despejai sobre eles a vossa cólera, e os atinja o fogo de vossa ira.	25 The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.
26 Seja devastada a sua morada, não haja quem habite em suas tendas,	26 Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.
27 porque perseguiram aquele a quem atingistes, e aumentaram a dor daquele a quem feristes.	27 There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
28 Deixai-os acumular falta sobre falta, e jamais sejam por vós reconhecidos como justos.	28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
29 Sejam riscados do livro dos vivos, e não se inscrevam os seus nomes entre os justos.	29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
30 Eu, porém, miserável e sofredor, seja protegido, ó Deus, pelo vosso auxílio.	30 Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.
31 Cantarei um cântico de louvor ao nome do Senhor, e o glorificarei com um hino de gratidão.	31 Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.
32 E isso a Deus será mais agradável que um touro, do que um novilho com chifres e unhas.	32 Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:
33 Ó vós, humildes, olhai e alegrai-vos; vós que buscais a Deus, reanime-se o vosso coração,	33 To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.
34 porque o Senhor ouve os necessitados, e seu povo cativo não despreza.	34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
35 Louvem-no os céus e a terra, os mares e tudo o que neles se move.	35 O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
36 Sim, Deus salvará Sião e reconstruirá as cidades de Judá. Para aí hão de voltar e a possuirão.
37 A linhagem de seus servos a receberá em herança, e os que amam o seu nome aí fixarão sua morada.
