1 Oto potomkowie Ezawa, czyli Edomu.	1 These are the descendants of Esau, that is, Edom.
2 Ezaw wziął sobie żony spośród mieszkanek Kanaanu: Adę, córkę Elona Chetyty, Oholibamę, córkę Chiwwity imieniem Ana, wnuczkę Sibeona,	2 Esau chose his wives from the women of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, Oholibamahdaughter of Anah, son of Zibeon the Horite,
3 i Basmat Izmaelitkę, siostrę Nebajota.	3 Basemath daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.
4 Ada urodziła Ezawowi Elifaza, Basmat - Reuela,	4 Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, Basemath bore Reuel,
5 a Oholibama urodziła Jeusza, Jalama i Koracha. Są to synowie Ezawa, którzy mu się urodzili w kraju Kanaan.	5 Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These were the sons of Esau born to him in Canaan.
6 Ezaw, zabrawszy swoje żony, synów i córki, całą czeladź swego domu, swoją trzodę i wszystkie zwierzęta oraz całe mienie, które sobie nabył w Kanaanie, udał się do ziemi [Seir] daleko od swego brata Jakuba,	6 Esau took his wives, his sons and daughters, al the members of his household, his livestock, al hiscattle and al the goods he had acquired in Canaan and left for Seir, away from his brother Jacob.
7 gdyż zbyt liczne mieli stada, aby mogli być razem: kraj, w którym przebywali, nie mógł im wystarczyć ze względu na ich mienie.	7 For they had acquired too much to live together. The land in which they were at that time could notsupport them both because of their livestock.
8 Ezaw osiedlił się na wyżynie Seir. - Ezaw to Edom.	8 That is why Edom settled in the mountainous region of Seir. Esau is Edom.
9 Oto potomkowie Ezawa, praojca Edomitów, na wyżynie Seir.	9 These are the descendants of Esau, ancestor of Edom, in the mountainous region of Seir.
10 Oto imiona synów Ezawa: Elifaz, syn Ady, żony Ezawa, i Reuel, syn Basmat, żony Ezawa.	10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz son of Esau's wife Adah, and Reuel son of Esau's wifeBasemath.
11 Synami Elifaza byli: Teman, Omar, Sefo, Gatam i Kenaz.	11 The sons of Eliphaz were: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenaz.
12 A Timna, która była drugorzędną żoną Elifaza, syna Ezawa, urodziła mu Amaleka. To są potomkowie Ady, żony Ezawa.	12 Eliphaz son of Esau had Timna for concubine and she bore him Amalek. These were the sons ofEsau's wife Adah.

16 Korach, Gatam i Amalek. Są to naczelnicy szczepów w kraju Edom, synowie Elifaza, potomkowie Ady.	16 Gatam and Amalek. These are the chieftains of Eliphaz in Edom and are descended from Adah.
17 Oto synowie Reuela, syna Ezawa, naczelnicy szczepów: Nachat, Zerach, Szamma i Mizza. Są to naczelnicy w kraju Edom, synowie Reuela, potomkowie Basmat, żony Ezawa.	17 The descendants of Esau's son Reuel: the chieftains of Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.These are the chieftains of Reuel in Edom and are descended from Esau's wife Basemath.
18 Oto synowie Oholibamy, żony Ezawa, naczelnicy szczepów: Jeusz, Jalam i Korach. Są to naczelnicy szczepów, potomkowie Oholibamy, żony Ezawa, a córki Any. -	18 The descendants of Esau's wife Oholibamah: the chieftains of Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These arethe chieftains of Esau's wife Oholibamah daughter of Anah.
19 Są to potomkowie Ezawa, a zarazem naczelnicy ich, czyli Edomitów.	19 These were the sons of Esau -- that is, Edom -- and these are their chieftains.
20 Oto synowie Seira, Choryty, mieszkańcy [pierwotni] tego kraju: Lotan, Szobal, Sibeon, Ana,	20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, natives of the country: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

35 Gdy umarł Chuszam, po nim królem był syn Bedada, Hadad, który zadał klęskę Madianitom na równinie Moabu; nazwa jego miasta - Awit.	35 Husham died and Hadad son of Bedad succeeded; he defeated the Midianites in Moab, and his citywas called Avith.
36 Po śmierci Hadada, po nim królem był Samla z Masreki.	36 Hadad died and Samlah of Masrekah succeeded.
37 A gdy umarł Samla, po nim królem był Szaul z Rechobot nad rzeką.	37 Samlah died and Shaul of Rehoboth-ha-Nahar succeeded.
38 Gdy umarł Szaul, po nim królem był Baal-Chanan, syn Akbora.	38 Shaul died and Baal-Hanan son of Achbor succeeded.
39 A po śmierci Baal-Chanana po nim królem był Hadar; nazwa zaś jego miasta Pau, a imię żony jego Mehetabeel, córka Matredy z Me-Zahab.	39 Baal-Hanan died and Hadad succeeded; his city was called Pau and his wife's name was Mehetabeldaughter of Matred, from Mezahab.
40 Oto imiona naczelników szczepów Ezawa według ich szczepów i miejscowości, nazwanych ich imionami: Timna, Alwa, Jetet,	40 These are the names of the chieftains of Esau -- according to their clans and localities: the chieftainsof Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,
