Psalms 94

1 The Praise of a Canticle, of David himself. Come, let us exult in the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to God, our Savior.	1 Laude del cantico di David. Venite, facciamo festa al Signore; giubiliamo a Dio nostro Salvatore.
2 Let us anticipate his presence with confession, and let us sing joyfully to him with psalms.	2 Andiamo inanzi alla sua faccia nella confessione; e in salmi giubiliamo a lui.
3 For the Lord is a great God and a great King over all gods.	3 Egli è il grande Signore Iddio; è grande re sopra tutti li dii.
4 For in his hand are all the limits of the earth, and the heights of the mountains are his.	4 Per che nella sua mano sono tutti li fini della terra; e le altitudini delli monti sono sue.
5 For the sea is his, and he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.	5 Suo è il mare, ed esso fece quello; e le sue mani formorono la secca terra.
6 Come, let us adore and fall prostrate, and let us weep before the Lord who made us.	6 Venite, adoriamolo e inginocchiamoci (dinanzi a Dio); piangiano dinanzi al Signore che ci ha fatto.
7 For he is the Lord our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.	7 Per che egli è il Signore Iddio nostro; e noi siamo popolo della sua pastura, e pecore delle sue mani.
8 If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts:	8 Se udirete oggi la sua voce, non indurate li cuori vostri,
9 as in the provocation, according to the day of temptation in the wilderness, where your fathers tempted me; they tested me, though they had seen my works.	9 sì come nella provocazione, secondo il giorno della tentazione nel deserto; dove tentorono me li padri vostri, provorono e videro le opere mie.
10 For forty years, I was offended by that generation, and I said: These have always strayed in heart.	10 Quaranta anni fui propinquo a quella generazione, e dissi: sempre questi fallano col cuore.
11 And these have not known my ways. So I swore in my wrath: They shall not enter into my rest.	11 Ed egli non hanno conosciuto le vie mie; alli quali giurai nell' ira mia: non entreranno nel mio riposo.
