2 Exult before God our helper. Sing joyfully to the God of Jacob.	2 Pasteur d'Israël, écoute, toi qui mènes Joseph comme un troupeau; toi qui sièges sur les Chérubins,resplendis
3 Take up a psalm, and bring forth the timbrel: a pleasing Psalter with stringed instruments.	3 devant Ephraïm, Benjamin et Manassé, réveille ta vaillance et viens à notre secours.
4 Sound the trumpet at the new moon, on the noteworthy day of your solemnity,	4 Dieu, fais-nous revenir, fais luire ta face et nous serons sauvés.
5 for it is a precept in Israel and a judgment for the God of Jacob.	5 Jusques à quand, Yahvé Dieu Sabaot, prendras-tu feu contre la prière de ton peuple?
6 He set it as a testimony with Joseph, when he went out of the land of Egypt. He heard a tongue that he did not know.	6 Tu l'as nourri d'un pain de larmes, abreuvé de larmes à triple mesure;
7 He turned the burdens away from his back. His hands had been a slave to baskets.	7 tu fais de nous une question pour nos voisins et nos ennemis se moquent de nous.
8 You called upon me in tribulation, and I freed you. I heard you within the hidden tempest. I tested you with waters of contradiction.	8 Dieu Sabaot, fais-nous revenir, fais luire ta face et nous serons sauvés.
9 My people, listen and I will call you to testify. If, O Israel, you will pay heed to me,	9 Il était une vigne: tu l'arraches d'Egypte, tu chasses des nations pour la planter;
10 then there will be no new god among you, nor will you adore a foreign god.	10 devant elle tu fais place nette, elle prend racine et remplit le pays.
11 For I am the Lord your God, who led you out of the land of Egypt. Widen your mouth, and I will fill it.	11 Les montagnes étaient couvertes de son ombre, et de ses pampres les cèdres de Dieu;
12 But my people did not hear my voice, and Israel was not attentive to me.	12 elle étendait ses sarments jusqu'à la mer et du côté du Fleuve ses rejetons.
13 And so, I sent them away, according to the desires of their heart. They will go forth according to their own inventions.	13 Pourquoi as-tu rompu ses clôtures, et tout passant du chemin la grappille,
14 If my people had heard me, if Israel had walked in my ways,	14 le sanglier des forêts la ravage et la bête des champs la dévore?
15 I would have humbled their enemies, as if it were nothing, and I would have sent my hand upon those who troubled them.	15 Dieu Sabaot, reviens enfin, observe des cieux et vois, visite cette vigne:
16 The enemies of the Lord have lied to him, and their time will come, in every age.	16 protège-la, celle que ta droite a plantée.

	20 Yahvé Dieu Sabaot, fais-nous revenir, fais luire ta face et nous serons sauvés.
