Psalms 28

CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 A Psalm of David, at the completion of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O sons of God, bring to the Lord the sons of rams.	1 De David. Yo te invoco, Señor; tú eres mi Roca, no te quedes callado, porque si no me respondes, seré como los que bajan al sepulcro.
2 Bring to the Lord, glory and honor. Bring to the Lord, glory for his name. Adore the Lord in his holy court.	2 Oye la voz de mi plegaria, cuando clamo hacia ti, cuando elevo mis manos hacia tu Santuario.
3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters. The God of majesty has thundered. The Lord is over many waters.	3 No me arrastres con los malvados ni con los que hacen el mal: con los que hablan de paz a su prójimo, mientras su corazón está lleno de maldad.
4 The voice of the Lord is in virtue. The voice of the Lord is in magnificence.	4 Trátalos conforme a sus acciones, como corresponde a su mala conducta; trátalos según la obra de sus manos, págales su merecido.
5 The voice of the Lord shatters the cedars. And the Lord will shatter the cedars of Lebanon.	5 Ellos no valoran lo que hace el Señor ni la obra de sus manos: por eso él los derribará y no volverá a edificarlos.
6 And it will break them into pieces, like a calf of Lebanon, and in the same way as the beloved son of the single-horned beast.	6 Bendito sea el Señor, porque oyó la voz de mi plegaria;
7 The voice of the Lord cuts through the flame of fire.	7 el Señor es mi fuerza y mi escudo, mi corazón confía en él. Mi corazón se alegra porque recibí su ayuda: por eso le daré gracias con mi canto.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert. And the Lord will quake the desert of Kadesh.	8 El Señor es la fuerza de su pueblo, el baluarte de salvación para su Ungido.
9 The voice of the Lord is preparing the stags, and he will reveal the dense woods. And in his temple, all will speak his glory.	9 Salva a tu pueblo y bendice a tu herencia; apaciéntalos y sé su guía para siempre.
10 The Lord causes the great flood to dwell. And the Lord will sit as King in eternity.
11 The Lord will give virtue to his people. The Lord will bless his people in peace.
