1 Now concerning the collections that are made for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, so do ye also.	1 Riguardo poi alla colletta in corso a favore dei santi, fate anche voi come ho ordinato alle chiese della Galazia.
2 On the first day of the week let every one of you put apart with himself, laying up what it shall well please him; that when I come, the collections be not then to be made.	2 Ogni primo giorno della settimana ciascuno metta in disparte, per conservarlo, quel tanto che gli viene bene, onde non si debbano fare collette quando io venga.
3 And when I shall be with you, whomsoever you shall approve by letters, them will I send to carry your grace to Jerusalem.	3 Quando verrò, manderò con una mia lettera quelli che voi avrete scelto per portare il dono della vostra benevolenza a Gerusalemme.
4 And if it be meet that I also go, they shall go with me.	4 E se sembrerà bene che vada anch'io, partiranno con me.
5 Now I will come to you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia. For I shall pass through Macedonia.	5 Verrò da voi dopo aver attraversato la Macedonia; ho infatti intenzione di attraversare la Macedonia,
6 And with you perhaps I shall abide, or even spend the winter: that you may bring me on my way whithersoever I shall go.	6 e giunto da voi, mi fermerò, o anche passerò l'inverno, per essere poi congedato da voi, dovunque debba andare.
7 For I will not see you now by the way, for I trust that I shall abide with you some time, if the Lord permit.	7 Non voglio assolutamente vedervi solo di passaggio, ma spero di trascorrere un po' di tempo con voi, se il Signore lo permetterà.
8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.	8 Mi fermerò tuttavia a Efeso fino a Pentecoste,
9 For a great door and evident is opened unto me: and many adversaries.	9 perché mi si è aperta una porta grande e favorevole, anche se gli avversari sono molti.
10 Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear, for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.	10 Se viene Timoteo, fate che non si trovi in soggezione presso di voi: lavora per l'opera del Signore al pari di me.
11 Let no man therefore despise him, but conduct ye him on his way in peace: that he may come to me. For I look for him with the breatheren.	11 Perciò nessuno gli manchi di riguardo. Accomiatatelo in pace, perché venga da me, che lo aspetto con i fratelli.
12 And touching our brother Apollo, I give you to understand, that I much entreated him to come unto you with the breatheren: and indeed it was not his will at all to come at this time. But he will come when he shall have leisure.	12 Quanto al fratello Apollo, io l'ho pregato vivamente di venire da voi con i fratelli, ma non ha voluto saperne di partire adesso; verrà tuttavia quando gli si presenterà l'occasione.
13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith,do manfully, and be strengthened.	13 Vigilate, state saldi nella fede, siate uomini, siate forti.
14 Let all your things be done in charity.	14 Tutto si faccia tra voi nella carità.
15 And I beseech you, brethren, you know the house of Stephanas, and of Fortunatus, and of Achaicus, that they are the firstfruits of Achaia, and have dedicated themselves to the ministry of the saints:	15 Una raccomandazione ancora, o fratelli: conoscete la famiglia di Stefana, che è primizia dell'Acaia e hanno votato se stessi a servizio dei santi;
16 That you also be subject to such, and to every one that worketh with us, and laboureth.	16 siate anche voi obbedienti verso di loro e verso quanti collaborano e si affaticano.
17 And I rejoice in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because that which was wanting on your part, they have supplied.	17 Godo della presenza di Stefana, di Fortunato e di Acaico, i quali hanno supplito alla vostra mancanza;
18 For they have refreshed both my spirit and yours. Know them, therefore, that are such.	18 hanno allietato il mio spirito e allieteranno il vostro. Sappiate riconoscere queste persone.
19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house, with whom I also lodge.	19 Le chiese dell'Asia vi salutano. Vi salutano molto nel Signore Aquila e Prisca con la comunità che si raduna nella loro casa.
20 All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss.	20 Vi salutano i fratelli tutti. Salutatevi a vicenda con il bacio santo.
21 The salutation of me Paul, with my own hand.	21 Il saluto è di mia mano, di Paolo.
22 If any man love not our Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema, maranatha.	22 Se qualcuno non ama il Signore, sia anàtema. Maràna tha.
23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.	23 La grazia del Signore Gesù sia con voi.
24 My charity be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.	24 Il mio affetto con tutti voi in Cristo Gesù!
