Job 10

DOUAI-RHEIMS	GREEK BIBLE
1 My soul is weary of my life, I will let go my speech against myself, I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.	1 Η ψυχη μου εβαρυνθη την ζωην μου? θελω παραδοθη εις το παραπονον μου? θελω λαλησει εν τη πικρια της ψυχης μου.
2 I will say to God: Do not condemn me: tell me why thou judgest me so.	2 Θελω ειπει προς τον Θεον, μη με καταδικασης? δειξον μοι δια τι με δικαζεις.
3 Doth it seem good to thee that thou shouldst calumniate me, and oppress me, the work of thy own hands, and help the counsel of the wicked?	3 Ειναι καλον εις σε να καταθλιβης, να καταφρονης το εργον των χειρων σου και να ευοδονης την βουλην των ασεβων;
4 Hast thou eyes of flesh: or, shalt thou see as man seeth?	4 Σαρκος οφθαλμους εχεις; η βλεπεις καθως βλεπει ανθρωπος;
5 Are thy days as the days of man, and are thy years as the times of men:	5 Ανθρωπινος ειναι ο βιος σου; η τα ετη σου ως ημεραι ανθρωπου,
6 That thou shouldst inquire after my iniquity, and search after my sin?	6 ωστε αναζητεις την ανομιαν μου και ανερευνας την αμαρτιαν μου;
7 And shouldst know that I have done no wicked thing, whereas there is no man that can deliver out of thy hand.	7 Ενω εξευρεις οτι δεν ησεβησα? και δεν υπαρχει ο ελευθερων εκ των χειρων σου.
8 Thy hands have made me, and fashioned me wholly round about, and dost thou thus cast me down headlong on a sudden?	8 Αι χειρες σου με εμορφωσαν και με επλασαν ολον κυκλω? και με καταστρεφεις.
9 Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay, and thou wilt bring me into dust again.	9 Ενθυμηθητι, δεομαι, οτι ως πηλον με εκαμες? και εις χωμα θελεις με επιστρεψει.
10 Hast thou not milked me as milk, and curdled me like cheese?	10 Δεν με ημελξας ως γαλα και με επηξας ως τυρον;
11 Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh: thou hast put me together with bones and sinews:	11 Δερμα και σαρκα με ενεδυσας και με οστα και νευρα με περιεφραξας.
12 Thou hast granted me life and mercy, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.	12 Ζωην και ελεος εχαρισας εις εμε, και η επισκεψις σου εφυλαξε το πνευμα μου?
13 Although thou conceal these things in thy heart, yet I know that thou rememberest all things.	13 ταυτα ομως εκρυπτες εν τη καρδια σου? εξευρω οτι τουτο ητο μετα σου.
14 If I have sinned and thou hast spared me for an hour: why dost thou not suffer me to be clean from my iniquity?	14 Εαν αμαρτησω, με παραφυλαττεις, και απο της ανομιας μου δεν θελεις με αθωωσει.
15 And if I be wicked, woe unto me: and if just, I shall not lift up my head, being filled with affliction and misery.	15 Εαν ασεβησω, ουαι εις εμε? και εαν ημαι δικαιος, δεν δυναμαι να σηκωσω την κεφαλην μου? ειμαι πληρης ατιμιας? ιδε λοιπον την θλιψιν μου,
16 And for pride thou wilt take me as a lioness, and returning thou tormentest me wonderfully.	16 διοτι αυξανει. Με κυνηγεις ως αγριος λεων? και επιστρεφων δεικνυεσαι θαυμαστος κατ' εμου.
17 Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and multipliest thy wrath upon me, and pains war against me.	17 Ανανεονεις τους μαρτυρας σου εναντιον μου, και πληθυνεις την οργην σου κατ' εμου? αλλαγαι στρατευματος γινονται επ' εμε.
18 Why didst thou bring me forth out of the womb: O that I had been consumed that eye might not see me!	18 Δια τι λοιπον με εξηγαγες εκ της μητρας; ειθε να εξεπνεον, και οφθαλμος να μη με εβλεπεν.
19 I should have been as if I had not been, carried from the womb to the grave.	19 Ηθελον εισθαι ως μη υπαρξας? ηθελον φερθη εκ της μητρας εις τον ταφον.
20 Shall not the fewness of my days be ended shortly? suffer me, therefore, that I may lament my sorrow a little:	20 Αι ημεραι μου δεν ειναι ολιγαι; παυσον λοιπον, και αφες με, δια να αναλαβω ολιγον,
21 Before I go, and return no more, to a land that is dark and covered with the mist of death:	21 πριν υπαγω οθεν δεν θελω επιστρεψει, εις γην σκοτους και σκιας θανατου?
22 A land of misery and darkness, where the shadow of death, and no order, but everlasting horror dwelleth.	22 γην γνοφεραν, ως το σκοτος της σκιας του θανατου, οπου ταξις δεν ειναι, και το φως ειναι ως το σκοτος.
