5 At that time, the Almighty was with me and my children surrounded me.	5 quando l'Onnipotente era ancora con me e i miei figli mi stavano intorno!
6 Then, I washed my feet with butter, and a boulder poured out rivers of oil for me.	6 Lavavo i piedi nel latte e la roccia mi versava ruscelli d'olio.

15 I was an eye for the blind and a foot for the lame.	15 Ero occhi per il cieco e piedi per lo zoppo;
16 I was the father of the poor; and if I lacked knowledge about any case, I investigated very diligently.	16 ero padre per i poveri ed esaminavo la causa dello sconosciuto.
17 I crushed the jaws of the impious, and I took away prey from his teeth.	17 Spezzavo le mascelle dell'iniquo e dai suoi denti strappavo la preda.
18 And I said, “I will die in my little nest, and like a palm tree, I will multiply my days.	18 E pensavo: "Spirerò nel mio nido; aumenterò i miei anni come la sabbia.
19 My root has been spread beside the waters, and the dew will remain with my harvest.	19 La mia radice si alimenterà alle acque e la rugiada cadrà di notte sul mio ramo.
20 My glory will always be restored, and my bow will be restored to my hand.”	20 Il mio prestigio sarà sempre nuovo e il mio arco si rinforzerà nella mia mano".
21 Those who heard me, expected vindication, and they listened closely in silence to my counsel.	21 Mi ascoltavano in fiduciosa attesa e tacevano per udire il mio consiglio.
22 To my words, they dared to add nothing, and my eloquence poured over them.	22 Dopo che avevano parlato, non replicavano; su di loro cadevano goccia a goccia i miei detti.
