1 In fine, Salmo di David.	1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David.
2 I cieli raccontano la gloria di Dio, e il firmamento annuncia le opere delle sue mani.	2 The heavens describe the glory of God, and the firmament announces the work of his hands.
3 Il giorno racconta la parola al giorno, e la notte manifesta la scienza alla notte.	3 Day proclaims the word to day, and night to night imparts knowledge.
4 Non sono parole, nè sermoni, de' quali non siano udite loro voci.	4 There are no speeches or conversations, where their voices are not being heard.
5 In ogni terra è uscito loro suono, e nelle fini del mondo loro parole.	5 Their sound has gone forth through all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
6 Ha posto il suo tabernacolo nel sole; e lui, come sposo procedente dalla sua camera, rallegrossi come gigante a correre la via.	6 He has placed his tabernacle in the sun, and he is like a bridegroom coming out of his bedroom. He has exulted like a giant running along the way;
7 Il suo uscire dal sommo cielo; e il suo corrimento insino al sommo cielo; e non è cui si asconda dal suo calore.	7 his departure is from the summit of heaven. And his course reaches all the way to its summit. Neither is there anyone who can hide himself from his heat.
8 La legge del Signore, convertente le anime, è immacolata; fedele è il testamento del Signore, che a' piccoli dona la sapienza.	8 The law of the Lord is immaculate, converting souls. The testimony of the Lord is faithful, providing wisdom to little ones.
9 Diritte sono le giustizie del Signore, rallegranti i cuori; lucido è il comandamento del Signore, illuminante gli occhii.	9 The justice of the Lord is right, rejoicing hearts. The precepts of the Lord are brilliant, enlightening the eyes.
10 Il santo timore del Signore permane IN SECULUM SECULI; i veri giudicii del Signore sono giustificati in sè medesimi.	10 The fear of the Lord is holy, enduring for all generations. The judgments of the Lord are true, justified in themselves:
11 Sono desiderabili sopra molto auro e pietra preziosa, e più dolci che il primo mele.	11 desirable beyond gold and many precious stones, and sweeter than honey and the honeycomb.
12 Per certo il servo tuo osserva quelli; osservandoli, hanne molta retribuzione.	12 For, indeed, your servant keeps them, and in keeping them, there are many rewards.
13 Chi intende i peccati? Dalli miei occulti monda me (Signore);	13 Who can understand transgression? From my hidden faults, cleanse me, O Lord,
14 E dalli estranei perdona al tuo servo. (Però che) se non mi signoreggeranno, allora sarò immacolato, e sarò mondato dal grande peccato.	14 and from those of others, spare your servant. If they will have no dominion over me, then I will be immaculate, and I will be cleansed from the greatest transgression.
15 E saranno acciò che i parlari della mia bocca piacciano; e la meditazione del mio cuore sempre sarà nel tuo conspetto. Signore, sei mio aiutatore, e mio ricevitore.	15 And the eloquence of my mouth will be so as to please, along with the meditation of my heart, in your sight, forever, O Lord, my helper and my redeemer.
