| 8 de' loro figliuoli e de' loro successori, i quali non aveano morti i figliuoli d' Israel, soggiogò Salomone in tributarii, insino al dì presente. | 8 from their descendants who were left after them in the land, whom the people of Israel had not destroyed--these Solomon made a forced levy and so they are to this day. |
| 9 Ma de' figliuoli d' Israel non puose a servire nelle opere del re; ma erano uomini combattitori e primi duchi e principi delle quadrighe e de' suoi cavalieri. | 9 But of the people of Israel Solomon made no slaves for his work; they were soldiers, and his officers, the commanders of his chariots, and his horsemen. |

So the house of the LORD was completed. |
