2 Porta soccorso, o Signore, poiché finito è il fedele, scomparsi sono i giusti di mezzo ai figli degli uomini.	2 Friend tel s lies to friend, and, smooth-tongued, speaks from an insincere heart.
3 L'uomo dice falsità al suo compagno, labbra ingannevoli e doppiezza di cuore sono le loro parole.	3 May Yahweh cut away every smooth lip, every boastful tongue,
4 Possa stroncare il Signore ogni labbro ingannevole, ogni lingua dalle grandi parole.	4 those who say, 'In our tongue lies our strength, our lips are our al ies; who can master us?'

9 Dappertutto si aggirano gli empi, mentre si esaltano gli insolenti in mezzo ai figli degli uomini.
