Psalms 32

1 A Psalm of David. Exult in the Lord, you just ones; together praise the upright.	1 τω δαυιδ αγαλλιασθε δικαιοι εν τω κυριω τοις ευθεσι πρεπει αινεσις
2 Confess to the Lord with stringed instruments; sing psalms to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.	2 εξομολογεισθε τω κυριω εν κιθαρα εν ψαλτηριω δεκαχορδω ψαλατε αυτω
3 Sing to him a new song. Sing psalms to him skillfully, with loud exclamation.	3 ασατε αυτω ασμα καινον καλως ψαλατε εν αλαλαγμω
4 For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his works are in faith.	4 οτι ευθης ο λογος του κυριου και παντα τα εργα αυτου εν πιστει
5 He loves mercy and judgment. The earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.	5 αγαπα ελεημοσυνην και κρισιν του ελεους κυριου πληρης η γη
6 By the word of the Lord, the heavens were established, and all their power, by the Spirit of his mouth:	6 τω λογω του κυριου οι ουρανοι εστερεωθησαν και τω πνευματι του στοματος αυτου πασα η δυναμις αυτων
7 gathering together the waters of the sea, as if in a container, placing the depths in storage.	7 συναγων ως ασκον υδατα θαλασσης τιθεις εν θησαυροις αβυσσους
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord, and may all the inhabitants of the world quake before him.	8 φοβηθητω τον κυριον πασα η γη απ' αυτου δε σαλευθητωσαν παντες οι κατοικουντες την οικουμενην
9 For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.	9 οτι αυτος ειπεν και εγενηθησαν αυτος ενετειλατο και εκτισθησαν
10 The Lord scatters the counsels of the nations. Moreover, he reproves the thoughts of the people, and he rejects the counsels of the leaders.	10 κυριος διασκεδαζει βουλας εθνων αθετει δε λογισμους λαων και αθετει βουλας αρχοντων
11 But the counsel of the Lord remains for eternity, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.	11 η δε βουλη του κυριου εις τον αιωνα μενει λογισμοι της καρδιας αυτου εις γενεαν και γενεαν
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his inheritance.	12 μακαριον το εθνος ου εστιν κυριος ο θεος αυτου λαος ον εξελεξατο εις κληρονομιαν εαυτω
13 The Lord has looked down from heaven. He has seen all the sons of men.	13 εξ ουρανου επεβλεψεν ο κυριος ειδεν παντας τους υιους των ανθρωπων
14 From his well-prepared dwelling place, he has gazed upon all who dwell on the earth.	14 εξ ετοιμου κατοικητηριου αυτου επεβλεψεν επι παντας τους κατοικουντας την γην
15 He has formed the hearts of each one of them; he understands all their works.	15 ο πλασας κατα μονας τας καρδιας αυτων ο συνιεις εις παντα τα εργα αυτων
16 The king is not saved by great power, nor will the giant be saved by his many powers.	16 ου σωζεται βασιλευς δια πολλην δυναμιν και γιγας ου σωθησεται εν πληθει ισχυος αυτου
17 The horse is false safety; for he will not be saved by the abundance of his powers.	17 ψευδης ιππος εις σωτηριαν εν δε πληθει δυναμεως αυτου ου σωθησεται
18 Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him and on those who hope in his mercy,	18 ιδου οι οφθαλμοι κυριου επι τους φοβουμενους αυτον τους ελπιζοντας επι το ελεος αυτου
19 so as to rescue their souls from death and to feed them during famine.	19 ρυσασθαι εκ θανατου τας ψυχας αυτων και διαθρεψαι αυτους εν λιμω
20 Our soul remains with the Lord. For he is our helper and protector.	20 η ψυχη ημων υπομενει τω κυριω οτι βοηθος και υπερασπιστης ημων εστιν
21 For in him, our heart will rejoice, and in his holy name, we have hoped.	21 οτι εν αυτω ευφρανθησεται η καρδια ημων και εν τω ονοματι τω αγιω αυτου ηλπισαμεν
22 Let your mercy be upon us, O Lord, just as we have hoped in you.	22 γενοιτο το ελεος σου κυριε εφ' ημας καθαπερ ηλπισαμεν επι σε
