1 [Of Solomon] God, endow the king with your own fair judgement, the son of the king with your ownsaving justice,	1 (71-1) ^^Псалом Давида.^^ Боже! даруй царю Твой суд и сыну царя Твою правду,
2 that he may rule your people with justice, and your poor with fair judgement.	2 (71-2) да судит праведно людей Твоих и нищих Твоих на суде;
3 Mountains and hil s, bring peace to the people! With justice	3 (71-3) да принесут горы мир людям и холмы правду;
4 he wil judge the poor of the people, he wil save the children of the needy and crush their oppressors.	4 (71-4) да судит нищих народа, да спасет сынов убогого и смирит притеснителя, --
5 In the sight of the sun and the moon he wil endure, age after age.	5 (71-5) и будут бояться Тебя, доколе пребудут солнце и луна, в роды родов.
6 He will come down like rain on mown grass, like showers moistening the land.	6 (71-6) Он сойдет, как дождь на скошенный луг, как капли, орошающие землю;
7 In his days uprightness shal flourish, and peace in plenty till the moon is no more.	7 (71-7) во дни его процветет праведник, и будет обилие мира, доколе не престанет луна;
8 His empire shal stretch from sea to sea, from the river to the limits of the earth.	8 (71-8) он будет обладать от моря до моря и от реки до концов земли;
9 The Beast wil cower before him, his enemies lick the dust;	9 (71-9) падут пред ним жители пустынь, и враги его будут лизать прах;
10 the kings of Tarshish and the islands wil pay him tribute. The kings of Sheba and Saba wil offer gifts;	10 (71-10) цари Фарсиса и островов поднесут ему дань; цари Аравии и Савы принесут дары;
11 all kings will do him homage, al nations become his servants.	11 (71-11) и поклонятся ему все цари; все народы будут служить ему;
12 For he rescues the needy who cal s to him, and the poor who has no one to help.	12 (71-12) ибо он избавит нищего, вопиющего и угнетенного, у которого нет помощника.
13 He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the needy from death.	13 (71-13) Будет милосерд к нищему и убогому, и души убогих спасет;
14 From oppression and violence he redeems their lives, their blood is precious in his sight.	14 (71-14) от коварства и насилия избавит души их, и драгоценна будет кровь их пред очами его;
15 (Long may he live; may the gold of Sheba be given him!) Prayer wil be offered for him constantly,and blessings invoked on him al day.	15 (71-15) и будет жить, и будут давать ему от золота Аравии, и будут молиться о нем непрестанно, всякий день благословлять его;
16 May wheat abound in the land, waving on the heights of the hills, like Lebanon with its fruits andflowers at their best, like the grasses of the earth.	16 (71-16) будет обилие хлеба на земле, наверху гор; плоды его будут волноваться, как [лес] на Ливане, и в городах размножатся люди, как трава на земле;
17 May his name be blessed for ever, and endure in the sight of the sun. In him shal be blessed everyrace in the world, and all nations call him blessed.	17 (71-17) будет имя его вовек; доколе пребывает солнце, будет передаваться имя его; и благословятся в нем [племена], все народы ублажат его.
18 Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders;	18 (71-18) Благословен Господь Бог, Бог Израилев, един творящий чудеса,
19 blessed for ever his glorious name. May the whole world be fil ed with his glory! Amen! Amen!	19 (71-19) и благословенно имя славы Его вовек, и наполнится славою Его вся земля. Аминь и аминь.
