1 [Of Solomon] God, endow the king with your own fair judgement, the son of the king with your ownsaving justice,	1 (Vennero meno le laude ovver li inni di David figliuolo di Iesse,) salmo di Asaf. Come è buono l'Iddio d'Israel a' dritti di cuore!
2 that he may rule your people with justice, and your poor with fair judgement.	2 Ma a pena sono mossi li miei piedi; quas? sono sparti li miei sentieri.
3 Mountains and hil s, bring peace to the people! With justice	3 Per che feimi molesto sopra gl' iniqui, vedendo la pace de' peccatori.
4 he wil judge the poor of the people, he wil save the children of the needy and crush their oppressors.	4 Però [che] non è rispetto alla loro morte, e firmamento in loro piaghe.
5 In the sight of the sun and the moon he wil endure, age after age.	5 Non sono nella fatica delli uomini; e con li uomini non saranno flagellati.
6 He will come down like rain on mown grass, like showers moistening the land.	6 Però halli tenuti la superbia; sono coperti colla iniquità ed empietà sua.
7 In his days uprightness shal flourish, and peace in plenty till the moon is no more.	7 Loro iniquità apparse come da grassezza, andanti nel desiderio del cuore.
8 His empire shal stretch from sea to sea, from the river to the limits of the earth.	8 Pensorono la nequizia, e hanno parlato; hanno detta la iniquità contra l'eccelso.
9 The Beast wil cower before him, his enemies lick the dust;	9 In cielo hanno posto la sua bocca; e loro lingua passata è in terra.
10 the kings of Tarshish and the islands wil pay him tribute. The kings of Sheba and Saba wil offer gifts;	10 Però sarà convertito il mio popolo quivi; e in loro ritroveransi li giorni pieni.
11 all kings will do him homage, al nations become his servants.	11 E dissero come il sa Iddio? e s'egli è scienza nell' eccelso?
12 For he rescues the needy who cal s to him, and the poor who has no one to help.	12 Ecco che li peccatori, e abbondanti nel mondo, hanno conseguito le ricchezze.
13 He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the needy from death.	13 E dissi adunque senza cagione giustificai il cuore mio, e tra li innocenti lavai le mani mie;
14 From oppression and violence he redeems their lives, their blood is precious in his sight.	14 e fui flagellato tutto il giorno, e la mia castigazione fu nel mattino.
15 (Long may he live; may the gold of Sheba be given him!) Prayer wil be offered for him constantly,and blessings invoked on him al day.	15 E se io dico: vi racconterò così; ecco che riprovai la nazione de' tuoi figliuoli.
16 May wheat abound in the land, waving on the heights of the hills, like Lebanon with its fruits andflowers at their best, like the grasses of the earth.	16 E credeva di conoscere; questa fatica è dinanzi a me,
17 May his name be blessed for ever, and endure in the sight of the sun. In him shal be blessed everyrace in the world, and all nations call him blessed.	17 insino ch' io entri nel santuario di Dio, e ch' io intenda nelle loro fini.
18 Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders;	18 E però a loro ponesti per inganno; scancellastili mentre che si alzavano.
19 blessed for ever his glorious name. May the whole world be fil ed with his glory! Amen! Amen!	19 Come sono fatti in desolazione, sùbito vennero meno; e' perirono per la sua iniquità.
20 End of the prayers of David, son of Jesse.	20 Il Signore riducerà a niente loro imagine nella sua città, come sogno di risveglianti.
	21 Per che inflammato è il cuore mio, e commutate sono le mie reni;
	22 e io son ridotto a niente, e nol seppi.
	23 Come giumento appresso di te fatto sono; e io son sempre teco.
	24 Tenesti la mano mia destra; e ha'mi menato nella tua volontà, e con gloria ricevuto.
	25 Certo che cosa è [a me] in cielo? e da te che ho vogliuto sopra la terra?
	26 Venuta è meno la mia carne e il mio cuore, sei Iddio del mio cuore, e mio padre, o Iddio, in eterno.
	27 Per che ecco che chi s'allungano da te periranno; hai distrutto tutti quelli che fanno fornica'zione contra di te.
	28 Ma a me è buono accostarmi a Dio; ponerò la mia speranza nel Signore Iddio mio, acciò ch' io annunzii le tue predicazioni, nelle porte della figliuola di Sion.
