1 Lettre de l’Ancien à la Dame élue et à ses enfants. Je les aime selon la vérité - pas seulement moi mais tous ceux qui connaissent la vérité	1 From the Elder: my greetings to the Lady, the chosen one, and to her children, whom I love in truth --and I am not the only one, for so do al who have come to know the Truth -- and I am not the only one, for so sodo al who have come to know the Truth-
2 - et grâce à cette vérité qui demeure en nous et qui sera avec nous pour toujours.	2 because of the truth that remains in us and wil be with us for ever.
3 Recevez donc de Dieu le Père et de Jésus Christ, le Fils du Père, grâce, miséricorde et paix, fruits de son amour et de sa fidélité.	3 In our life of truth and love, we shal have grace, faithful love and peace from God the Father and fromJesus Christ, the Son of the Father.
4 J’ai eu grand plaisir à rencontrer quelques-uns de tes enfants qui vivent dans la vérité, selon l’ordre que nous avons reçu du Père.	4 It has given me great joy to find that children of yours have been living the life of truth as we werecommanded by the Father.
5 Et maintenant je t’en prie, Madame - ce n’est pas un commandement nouveau que je te donne, mais celui que nous avons depuis le commencement: aimons-nous les uns les autres.	5 And now I am asking you -- dear lady, not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but onlythe one which we have had from the beginning -- that we should love one another.
6 Et l’amour, c’est de vivre d’accord avec ses commandements. Voilà le commandement que vous avez appris dès le commencement. Il faut en faire notre vie.	6 To love is to live according to his commandments: this is the commandment which you have heardsince the beginning, to live a life of love.
7 Bien des charlatans sont retournés au monde, des gens qui ne croient pas que Jésus est le Christ venu dans la chair. C’est là qu’on reconnaît le charlatan et l’antichrist.	7 There are many deceivers at large in the world, refusing to acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming inhuman nature. They are the Deceiver; they are the Antichrist.
8 Faites attention à ne pas perdre ainsi le prix de vos travaux: vous voudrez sûrement recevoir un salaire intégral.	8 Watch yourselves, or all our work will be lost and you wil forfeit your full reward.
9 Dès qu’on ne s’en tient pas à la doctrine du Christ et qu’on croit faire mieux, on n’a plus Dieu. Mais celui qui reste dans la doctrine, c’est lui qui a le Père et le Fils.	9 If anybody does not remain in the teaching of Christ but goes beyond it, he does not have God with him:only those who remain in what he taught can have the Father and the Son with them.
10 Si quelqu’un arrive chez vous et ne tient pas cette doctrine, ne le recevez pas et ne le saluez même pas.	10 If anyone comes to you bringing a different doctrine, you must not receive him into your house or evengive him a greeting.
11 Rien que de le saluer, vous deviendriez complices de ses mauvaises actions.	11 Whoever greets him has a share in his wicked activities.
12 Je voudrais te dire bien des choses, mais pas par lettre, avec de l’encre et du papier. Je compte bien aller chez vous et nous parlerons de vive voix de sorte que notre joie soit parfaite.	12 There are several things I have to tell you, but I have thought it best not to trust them to paper and ink.I hope instead to visit you and talk to you in person, so that our joy may be complete.
13 Les enfants de ta Sœur élue te saluent.	13 Greetings to you from the children of your sister, the chosen one.
