Psalmi 141

1 Psalam. Davidov. Prizivljem te, Jahve, k meni pohitaj! Slušaj glas moj kojim tebi vapijem!	1 The understanding of David. A prayer, when he was in the cave.
2 Nek’ mi se uzdigne molitva kao kâd pred lice tvoje, podizanje mojih ruku nek’ bude k’o prinos večernji!	2 With my voice, I cried out to the Lord. With my voice, I made supplication to the Lord.
3 Na usta mi, Jahve, stražu postavi i stražare na vrata usana mojih!	3 In his sight, I pour out my prayer, and before him, I declare my tribulation.
4 Ne daj da mi se srce zlu prikloni, da bezbožno počinim djela opaka; i u društvu zlotvora da ne blagujem poslastica njihovih!	4 Though my spirit may become faint within me, even then, you have known my paths. Along this way, which I have been walking, they have hidden a snare for me.
5 Nek’ me samo udari pravednik, ljubav je što me kara, al’ ulje grešničko neće mi glavu pomazat’; zloći njihovoj oprijet ću se uvijek svojom molitvom.	5 I considered toward the right, and I looked, but there was no one who would know me. Flight has perished before me, and there is no one who has concern for my soul.
6 Kad strovale niz hridinu suce njihove, razumjet će kako blage bjehu riječi moje.	6 I cried out to you, O Lord. I said: You are my hope, my portion in the land of the living.
7 Kao kad orač ore i para zemlju, tako će im se na rubu podzemlja kosti rasuti.	7 Attend to my supplication. For I have been humbled exceedingly. Free me from my persecutors, for they have been fortified against me.
8 U te su, Jahve, uprte oči moje, k tebi se utječem, ne daj da mi duša propadne!	8 Lead my soul out of confinement in order to confess your name. The just are waiting for me, until you repay me.
9 Čuvaj me od stupice koju postaviše meni, od zamki zločinaca!
10 Nek’ u vlastite zamke upadnu zlotvori, a ja neka im umaknem!
