Psalmi 141

¹ Psalam. Davidov. Prizivljem te, Jahve, k meni pohitaj! Slušaj glas moj kojim tebi vapijem!	¹ The understanding of David. A prayer, when he was in the cave.
² Nek’ mi se uzdigne molitva kao kâd pred lice tvoje, podizanje mojih ruku nek’ bude k’o prinos večernji!	² With my voice, I cried out to the Lord. With my voice, I made supplication to the Lord.
³ Na usta mi, Jahve, stražu postavi i stražare na vrata usana mojih!	³ In his sight, I pour out my prayer, and before him, I declare my tribulation.
⁴ Ne daj da mi se srce zlu prikloni, da bezbožno počinim djela opaka; i u društvu zlotvora da ne blagujem poslastica njihovih!	⁴ Though my spirit may become faint within me, even then, you have known my paths. Along this way, which I have been walking, they have hidden a snare for me.
⁵ Nek’ me samo udari pravednik, ljubav je što me kara, al’ ulje grešničko neće mi glavu pomazat’; zloći njihovoj oprijet ću se uvijek svojom molitvom.	⁵ I considered toward the right, and I looked, but there was no one who would know me. Flight has perished before me, and there is no one who has concern for my soul.
⁶ Kad strovale niz hridinu suce njihove, razumjet će kako blage bjehu riječi moje.	⁶ I cried out to you, O Lord. I said: You are my hope, my portion in the land of the living.
⁷ Kao kad orač ore i para zemlju, tako će im se na rubu podzemlja kosti rasuti.	⁷ Attend to my supplication. For I have been humbled exceedingly. Free me from my persecutors, for they have been fortified against me.
⁸ U te su, Jahve, uprte oči moje, k tebi se utječem, ne daj da mi duša propadne!	⁸ Lead my soul out of confinement in order to confess your name. The just are waiting for me, until you repay me.
⁹ Čuvaj me od stupice koju postaviše meni, od zamki zločinaca!
¹⁰ Nek’ u vlastite zamke upadnu zlotvori, a ja neka im umaknem!
