1 מזמור שיר חנכת הבית לדוד ארוממך יהוה כי דליתני ולא שמחת איבי לי	1 [Psalm Canticle for the Dedication of the House Of David] I praise you to the heights, Yahweh, for youhave raised me up, you have not let my foes make merry over me.
2 יהוה אלהי שועתי אליך ותרפאני	2 Yahweh, my God, I cried to you for help and you healed me.
3 יהוה העלית מן שאול נפשי חייתני מיורדי בור	3 Yahweh, you have lifted me out of Sheol, from among those who sink into oblivion you have given melife.
4 זמרו ליהוה חסידיו והודו לזכר קדשו	4 Make music for Yahweh, al you who are faithful to him, praise his unforgettable holiness.
5 כי רגע באפו חיים ברצונו בערב ילין בכי ולבקר רנה	5 His anger lasts but a moment, his favour through life; In the evening come tears, but with dawn cries ofjoy.
6 ואני אמרתי בשלוי בל אמוט לעולם	6 Carefree, I used to think, 'Nothing can ever shake me!'
7 יהוה ברצונך העמדתה להררי עז הסתרת פניך הייתי נבהל	7 Your favour, Yahweh, set me on impregnable heights, but you turned away your face and I wasterrified.
8 אליך יהוה אקרא ואל אדני אתחנן	8 To you, Yahweh, I cal , to my God I cry for mercy.
9 מה בצע בדמי ברדתי אל שחת היודך עפר היגיד אמתך	9 What point is there in my death, my going down to the abyss? Can the dust praise you or proclaimyour faithfulness?
10 שמע יהוה וחנני יהוה היה עזר לי	10 Listen, Yahweh, take pity on me, Yahweh, be my help!
11 הפכת מספדי למחול לי פתחת שקי ותאזרני שמחה	11 You have turned my mourning into dancing, you have stripped off my sackcloth and clothed me withjoy.
12 למען יזמרך כבוד ולא ידם יהוה אלהי לעולם אודך	12 So my heart wil sing to you unceasingly, Yahweh, my God, I shal praise you for ever.
