Épître aux Galates 6

JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Frères, même dans le cas où quelqu'un serait pris en faute, vous les spirituels, rétablissez-le en espritde douceur, te surveillant toi-même, car tu pourrais bien toi aussi être tenté.	1 Brothers, even if one of you is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should setthat person right in a spirit of gentleness; and watch yourselves that you are not put to the test in the same way.
2 Portez les fardeaux les uns des autres et accomplissez ainsi la Loi du Christ.	2 Carry each other's burdens; that is how to keep the law of Christ.
3 Car si quelqu'un estime être quelque chose alors qu'il n'est rien, il se fait illusion.	3 Someone who thinks himself important, when he is not, only deceives himself;
4 Que chacun examine sa propre conduite et alors il trouvera en soi seul et non dans les autresl'occasion de se glorifier;	4 but everyone is to examine his own achievements, and then he wil confine his boasting to his ownachievements, not comparing them with anybody else's.
5 car tout homme devra porter sa charge personnelle.	5 Each one has his own load to carry.
6 Que le disciple fasse part de toute sorte de biens à celui qui lui enseigne la parole.	6 When someone is under instruction in doctrine, he should give his teacher a share in al hispossessions.
7 Ne vous y trompez pas; on ne se moque pas de Dieu. Car ce que l'on sème, on le récolte:	7 Don't delude yourself: God is not to be fooled; whatever someone sows, that is what he wil reap.
8 qui sème dans sa chair, récoltera de la chair la corruption; qui sème dans l'esprit, récoltera de l'espritla vie éternelle.	8 If his sowing is in the field of self-indulgence, then his harvest from it wil be corruption; if his sowing is inthe Spirit, then his harvest from the Spirit wil be eternal life.
9 Ne nous lassons pas de faire le bien; en son temps viendra la récolte, si nous ne nous relâchons pas.	9 And let us never slacken in doing good; for if we do not give up, we shal have our harvest in due time.
10 Ainsi donc, tant que nous en avons l'occasion, pratiquons le bien à l'égard de tous et surtout de nosfrères dans la foi.	10 So then, as long as we have the opportunity let al our actions be for the good of everybody, andespecial y of those who belong to the household of the faith.
11 Voyez quels gros caractères ma main trace à votre intention.	11 Notice what large letters I have used in writing to you with my own hand.
12 Des gens désireux de faire bonne figure dans la chair, voilà ceux qui vous imposent la circoncision,à seule fin d'éviter la persécution pour la croix du Christ.	12 It is those who want to cut a figure by human standards who force circumcision on you, simply so thatthey will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13 Car ceux qui se font circoncire n'observent pas eux-mêmes la loi; ils veulent seulement que voussoyez circoncis, pour se glorifier dans votre chair.	13 Even though they are circumcised they stil do not keep the Law themselves; they want you to becircumcised only so that they can boast of your outward appearance.
14 Pour moi, que jamais je ne me glorifie sinon dans la croix de notre Seigneur Jésus Christ, qui a faitdu monde un crucifié pour moi et de moi un crucifié pour le monde.	14 But as for me, it is out of the question that I should boast at al , except of the cross of our Lord JesusChrist, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 Car la circoncision n'est rien, ni l'incirconcision; il s'agit d'être une créature nouvelle.	15 It is not being circumcised or uncircumcised that matters; but what matters is a new creation.
16 Et à tous ceux qui suivront cette règle, paix et miséricorde, ainsi qu'à l'Israël de Dieu.	16 Peace and mercy to al who fol ow this as their rule and to the Israel of God.
17 Dorénavant que personne ne me suscite d'ennuis: je porte dans mon corps les marques de Jésus.	17 After this, let no one trouble me; I carry branded on my body the marks of Jesus.
18 Frères, la grâce de notre Seigneur Jésus Christ soit avec votre esprit! Amen.	18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, my brothers. Amen.
