1 Yahvé parla à Moïse et à Aaron et dit:	1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
2 "Les Israélites camperont chacun près de son étendard, sous les emblèmes de leurs familles. Ilscamperont autour de la Tente du Rendez-vous, à une certaine distance.	2 All the children of Israel shall camp by their troops, ensigns, and standards, and the houses of their kindreds, round about the tabernacle of the covenant.
3 Ceux qui camperont à l'est: A l'orient, l'étendard du camp de Juda, selon leurs unités. Prince desfils de Juda: Nahshôn, fils d'Amminadab.	3 On the east Juda shall pitch his tents by the bands of his army: and the prince of his sons shall be Nahasson the son of Aminadab.
4 Son contingent: 74.600 recensés.	4 And the whole sum of the fighting men of his stock, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
5 Campent près de lui: La tribu d'Issachar. Prince des fils d'Issachar: Netanéel, fils de Cuar.	5 Next unto him they of the tribe of Issachar encamped, whose prince was Nathanael, the son of Suar.
6 Son contingent: 54.400 recensés.	6 And the whole number of his fighting men were fifty-four thousand four hundred.
7 La tribu de Zabulon. Prince des fils de Zabulon: Eliab, fils de Hélôn.	7 In the tribe of Zabulon the prince was Eliab the son of Helon.
8 Son contingent: 57.400 recensés.	8 And all the army of fighting men of his stock, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
9 Les recensés du camp de Juda, selon leurs unités, sont en tout 186.400. Ils lèveront le camp lespremiers.	9 All that were numbered in the camp of Juda, were a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred: and they by their troops shall march first.
10 Au sud, l'étendard du camp de Ruben, selon leurs unités. Prince des fils de Ruben: Eliçur, fils deShedéur.	10 In the camp of the sons of Ruben, on the south side, the prince shall be Elisur the son of Sedeur:
11 Son contingent: 46.500 recensés.	11 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
12 Campent près de lui: La tribu de Siméon. Prince des fils de Siméon: Shelumiel, fils deCurishaddaï.	12 Beside him camped they of the tribe of Simeon: whose prince was Salamiel the son of Surisaddai.
13 Son contingent: 59.300 recensés.	13 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
14 La tribu de Gad. Prince des fils de Gad: Elyasaph, fils de Réuel.	14 In the tribe of Gad the prince was Eliasaph the son of Duel.
15 Son contingent: 45.650 recensés.	15 And the whole army of his fighting men that were numbered, were fortyfive thousand six hundred and fifty.
16 Les recensés du camp de Ruben, selon leurs unités, sont en tout 151.450. Ils lèveront le camp lesseconds.	16 All that were reckoned up in the camp of Ruben, were a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty, by their troops: they shall march in the second place.
17 C'est alors que la Tente du Rendez-vous partira, le camp des Lévites se trouvant au milieu desautres camps. On part dans l'ordre où l'on campe, chacun sous son étendard.	17 And the tabernacle of the testimony shall be carried by the officers of the Levites and their troops. As it shall be set up, so shall it be taken down. Every one shall march according to their places, and ranks.
18 A l'ouest, l'étendard du camp d'Ephraïm, selon leurs unités. Prince des fils d'Ephraïm: Elishama,fils d'Ammihud.	18 On the west side shall be the camp of the sons of Ephraim, whose prince was Elisama, the son of Ammiud.
19 Son contingent: 40.500 recensés.	19 The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty thousand five hundred.
20 Près de lui: La tribu de Manassé. Prince des fils de Manassé: Gamliel, fils de Pedahçur.	20 And with them the tribe of the sons of Manasses, whose prince was Gamaliel the son of Phadassur.
21 Son contingent: 32.200 recensés.	21 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
22 La tribu de Benjamin. Prince des fils de Benjamin: Abidân, fils de Gidéoni.	22 In the tribe of the sons of Benjamin the prince was Abidan the son of Gedeon.
23 Son contingent: 35.400 recensés.	23 And the whole army of his fighting men, that were reckoned up, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.
24 Les recensés du camp d'Ephraïm, selon leurs unités, sont en tout 108.100. Ils lèveront le camp lestroisièmes.	24 All that were numbered in the camp of Ephraim, were a hundred and eight thousand one hundred by their troops: they shall march in the third place.
25 Au nord, l'étendard du camp de Dan, selon leurs unités. Prince des fils de Dan: Ahiézer, filsd'Ammishaddaï.	25 On the north side camped the sons of Dan: whose prince was Ahiezar the son of Ammisaddai.
26 Son contingent: 62.700 recensés.	26 The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.
27 Campent près de lui: La tribu d'Asher. Prince des fils d'Asher: Pagiel, fils d'Okrân.	27 Beside him they of the tribe of Aser pitched their tents: whose prince was Phegiel the son of Ochran.
28 Son contingent: 41.500 recensés.	28 The whole army of his fighting men, that were numbered, were forty-one thousand five hundred.
29 La tribu de Nephtali. Prince des fils de Nephtali: Ahira, fils d'Enân.	29 Of the tribe of the sons of Nephtali the prince was Ahira the son of Enan.
30 Son contingent: 53.400 recensés.	30 The whole army of his fighting men, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
31 Les recensés du camp de Dan sont en tout 157.600; ils lèveront le camp les derniers. Tous selonleurs étendards."	31 All that were numbered in the camp of Dan, were a hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred: and they shall march last.
32 Tels furent les Israélites dont on fit le recensement par famille. Les recensés de ces camps, selonleurs unités, sont en tout 603.550.	32 This is the number of the children of Israel, of their army divided according to the houses of their kindreds and their troops, six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
33 Mais, comme Yahvé l'avait commandé à Moïse, les Lévites ne furent pas recensés avec lesIsraélites.	33 And the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel: for so the Lord had commanded Moses.
34 Les Israélites se conformèrent en tout point à ce que Yahvé avait ordonné à Moïse. C'est ainsiqu'ils campèrent, répartis par étendards. C'est ainsi qu'ils levèrent le camp, chacun dans son clan, chacun avec safamille.3, 1 Voici la postérité d'Aaron et de Moïse, à l'époque où Yahvé parla à Moïse au mont Sinaï.	34 And the children of Israel did according to all things that the Lord had commanded. They camped by their troops, and marched by the families and houses of their fathers.
