1 Voici les noms des tribus. A l'extrême nord, dans la direction de Hètlôn, vers l'Entrée de Hamat etHaçar-Enâ, le territoire de Damas étant au nord, le long de Hamat, depuis la limite orientale jusqu'à la limiteoccidentale: Dan, un lot.	1 This is the list of the tribes. Dan: at the northern extremity, adjoining Hamath, all along from the approaches to Hethlon through Labo of Hamath to Hazar-enon, on the northerly border with Damascus, with his possession reaching from the eastern to the western boundary.
2 Sur la frontière de Dan, depuis la limite orientale jusqu'à la limite occidentale: Asher, un lot.	2 Asher: on the frontier of Dan, from the eastern to the western boundary.

Le sanctuaire sera au milieu.	8 On the frontier of Judah, from the eastern to the western boundary there shall be the tract which you shall set apart, twenty-five thousand cubits from north to south, and as wide as one of the tribal portions from the eastern to the western boundary. In the center of the tract shall be the sanctuary.
9 La part que vous y prélèverez pour Yahvé sera longue de 25.000 coudées et large de 10.000.	9 The tract that you set aside for the LORD shall be twenty-five thousand cubits across by twenty thousand north and south.
10 C'est à ceux-ci, aux prêtres, qu'appartiendra la part sacrée: au nord, 25.000 coudées et à l'ouestune largeur de 10.000 coudées, à l'est une largeur de 10.000 coudées et au sud une longueur de 25.000 coudées;le sanctuaire de Yahvé sera au milieu.	10 In this sacred tract the priests shall have twenty-five thousand cubits on the north, ten thousand on the west, ten thousand on the east, and twenty-five thousand on the south; and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in its center.
11 Cela sera pour les prêtres consacrés, pour ceux des fils de Sadoq qui ont assuré mon service, quine se sont pas égarés dans l'égarement des Israélites, comme se sont égarés les lévites.	11 The consecrated priests, the Zadokites, who fulfilled my service and did not stray along with the Israelites as the Levites did,
12 Ainsi leur appartiendra une part prise sur la part très sainte du pays, près du territoire des lévites.	12 shall have within this tract of land their own most sacred domain, next to the territory of the Levites.
13 Quant aux lévites, leur territoire, tout comme le territoire des prêtres, aura 25.000 coudées delong et 10.000 de large - longueur totale 25.000 et largeur 10.000.	13 The Levites shall have a territory corresponding to that of the priests, twenty-five thousand cubits by ten thousand. The whole tract shall be twenty-five thousand cubits across and twenty thousand north and south.
14 Ils n'en pourront rien vendre ni échanger et le fonds de la terre ne pourra être aliéné, car il estconsacré à Yahvé.	14 They may not sell or exchange or alienate this, the best part of the land, for it is sacred to the LORD.
15 Quant aux 5.000 coudées qui restent, en largeur, sur 25.000, on en fera un territoire banal pour laville, pour les habitations et les pâturages. Au milieu, il y aura la ville.	15 The remaining five thousand cubits along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line are profane land, assigned to the City for dwellings and pasture; the City shall be at their center.
16 Voici ses dimensions: du côté du nord, 4.500 coudées; du côté du sud, 4.500 coudées; du côté del'est, 4.500 coudées; du côté de l'ouest, 4.500 coudées.	16 These are the dimensions of the City: the north side, forty-five hundred cubits; the south side, forty-five hundred cubits; the east side, forty-five hundred cubits; and the west side, forty-five hundred cubits.
17 Le pâturage de la ville aura vers le nord 250 coudées, vers le sud 250, vers l'est 250 et versl'ouest 250.	17 The pasture lands of the City shall extend north two hundred and fifty cubits, south two hundred and fifty cubits, east two hundred and fifty cubits, and west two hundred and fifty cubits.
18 Il restera, le long de la part consacrée, une longueur de 10.000 coudées vers l'orient et de 10.000vers l'occident, le long de la part consacrée: cela formera un revenu pour nourrir les travailleurs de la ville.	18 There shall remain an area along the sacred tract, ten thousand cubits to the east and ten thousand to the west, whose produce shall provide food for the workers of the City.
19 Et les travailleurs de la ville, pris dans toutes les tribus d'Israël, la cultiveront.	19 The workers in the City shall be taken from all the tribes of Israel.
20 Au total, la part aura 25.000 coudées sur 25.000. Vous prélèverez un carré sur la part sacrée pourconstituer la ville.	20 The entire tract shall be twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand cubits; as a perfect square you shall set apart the sacred tract together with the City property.
21 Et ce qui restera sera pour le prince, de part et d'autre de la part sacrée et de la propriété de laville, le long des 25.000 coudées à l'est, jusqu'à la frontière orientale, et à l'ouest, le long des 25.000 coudées,jusqu'à la frontière occidentale - pour le prince, parallèlement aux autres parts. Et au milieu, il y aura la partsacrée et le sanctuaire du Temple.	21 The remainder shall belong to the prince: the land on both sides of the sacred tract and the City property, extending along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line eastward to the eastern boundary, and westward along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line to the western boundary, a territory parallel with the tribal portions for the prince. The sacred tract and the sanctuary of the temple shall be in the middle.
22 Ainsi, depuis la propriété des lévites et la propriété de la ville, qui sont au milieu de ce quirevient au prince, entre le territoire de Juda et le territoire de Benjamin, ce sera au prince.	22 Thus, except for the property of the Levites and the City property, which lie in the midst of the prince's property, the territory between the portions of Judah and of Benjamin shall belong to the prince.

25 Sur la frontière de Siméon, depuis la limite orientale jusqu'à la limite occidentale: Issachar, unlot.	25 Issachar: on the frontier of Simeon, from the eastern to the western boundary.
26 Sur la frontière d'Issachar, depuis la limite orientale jusqu'à la limite occidentale: Zabulon, unlot.	26 Zebulun: on the frontier of Issachar, from the eastern to the western boundary.
27 Sur la frontière de Zabulon, depuis la limite orientale jusqu'à la limite occidentale: Gad, un lot.	27 Gad: on the frontier of Zebulun, from the eastern to the western boundary.
28 Et sur la frontière de Gad, du côté méridional, au midi, la frontière ira de Tamar aux eaux deMeriba de Qadesh, le torrent, jusqu'à la Grande mer.	28 Along the frontier of Gad shall be the southern boundary, which shall extend from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, and from there to the Wadi of Egypt, and on to the Great Sea.
29 Tel est le pays que vous ferez échoir en héritage aux tribus d'Israël, telles seront leurs parts,oracle du Seigneur Yahvé.	29 Such is the land which you shall apportion as inheritances among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, says the Lord GOD.
30 Et voici les sorties de la ville: du côté du nord, on mesurera 4.500 coudées.	30 These are the exits of the City, the gates of which are named after the tribes of Israel. On the north side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits,
31 Les portes de la ville recevront les noms des tribus d'Israël. Trois portes au nord: la porte deRuben, une; la porte de Juda, une; la porte de Lévi, une.	31 there shall be three gates: the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah, and the gate of Levi.
32 Du côté de l'orient, il y aura 4.500 coudées et trois portes: la porte de Joseph, une; la porte deBenjamin, une; la porte de Dan, une.	32 On the east side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph, the gate of Benjamin, and the gate of Dan.
33 Du côté du midi, on mesurera 4.500 coudées et il y aura trois portes: la porte de Siméon, une; laporte d'Issachar, une; la porte de Zabulon, une.	33 On the south side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon, the gate of Issachar, and the gate of Zebulun.
34 Du côté de l'occident, il y aura 4.500 coudées et trois portes: la porte de Gad, une; la ported'Asher, une; la porte de Nephtali, une.	34 On the west side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Gad, the gate of Asher, and the gate of Naphtali.
35 Périmètre total: 18.000 coudées. Et le nom de la ville sera désormais: "Yahvé est là."	35 The perimeter of the City is eighteen thousand cubits. The name of the City shall henceforth be "The LORD is here."
