JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahvé. Le porche du parvis intérieur, qui fait face à l'orient, sera fermé lessix jours ouvrables, mais le jour du sabbat, on l'ouvrira, ainsi que le jour de la néoménie,	1 ' "The Lord Yahweh says this: The east gate of the inner court must be kept shut for the six workingdays. On the Sabbath day, however, it must be opened, as also on the day of the New Moon;
2 et le prince entrera par le vestibule du porche extérieur et se tiendra debout contre les montants duporche. Alors les prêtres offriront son holocauste et son sacrifice de communion. Il se prosternera sur le seuil duporche et il sortira, et on ne refermera pas le porche jusqu'au soir.	2 and the prince must go in through the porch of the outer gate and take his position by the doorposts ofthe gate. The priests must then offer his burnt offerings and his communion sacrifice. He must prostrate himselfon the threshold of the gate and go out, and the gate must not be shut again until the evening.
3 Le peuple du pays se prosternera à l'entrée de ce porche, les sabbats et les jours de néoménie, enface de Yahvé.	3 The people of the country must prostrate themselves in the presence of Yahweh at the entrance to thegate on Sabbaths and days of the New Moon.
4 L'holocauste que le prince offrira à Yahvé au jour du sabbat, sera de six agneaux sans défaut etd'un bélier sans défaut,	4 The burnt offering offered to Yahweh by the prince on the Sabbath day must consist of sixunblemished lambs and one unblemished ram,
5 avec une oblation d'une mesure par bélier et, pour les agneaux, une offrande laissée à sadiscrétion, ainsi que de l'huile, un setier par mesure.	5 with an oblation of one ephah for the ram, and such oblation as he pleases for the lambs, and a hin ofoil for every ephah.
6 Au jour de la néoménie, ce sera un jeune taureau sans défaut, six agneaux et un bélier sans défaut.	6 On the day of the New Moon it must consist of an unblemished young bull, six unblemished lambs andone unblemished ram,
7 Il fera oblation d'une mesure pour le taureau et d'une mesure pour le bélier, et, pour les agneaux,ce qu'il voudra, ainsi que de l'huile, un setier par mesure.	7 when he must make an oblation of one ephah for the bul and one ephah for the ram, and what hepleases for the lambs, and a hin of oil for every ephah.
8 Lorsque le prince entrera, c'est par le vestibule du porche qu'il entrera, et c'est par là qu'il sortira.	8 "When the prince goes in, he must enter by the porch of the gate, and he must leave by the same way.
9 Lorsque le peuple du pays viendra devant Yahvé aux assemblées, ceux qui sont entrés par leporche septentrional, pour se prosterner, sortiront par le porche méridional, et ceux qui sont entrés par le porcheméridional sortiront par le porche septentrional. Nul ne s'en retournera par le porche par lequel il est entré: ilsortira en face.	9 When the people of the country come into the presence of Yahweh at the solemn festivals, those whohave come in by the north gate to prostrate themselves must go out by the south gate, and those who havecome in by the south gate must go out by the north gate; no one must turn back to leave through the gate bywhich he entered but must go out on the opposite side.
10 Le prince se tiendra au milieu d'eux; il entrera comme eux et sortira comme eux.	10 The prince will be with them, coming in like them and going out like them.
11 Aux jours de fête et d'assemblée, l'oblation sera d'une mesure par taureau, d'une mesure parbélier, pour les agneaux, à sa discrétion, et de l'huile, un setier par mesure.	11 "On feast days and solemn festivals the oblation must be one ephah for every bul , one ephah forevery ram, what he pleases for the lambs, and a hin of oil for every ephah.
12 Lorsque le prince offrira un holocauste volontaire ou un sacrifice de communion volontaire àYahvé, on lui ouvrira le porche qui fait face à l'orient, et il offrira son holocauste et son sacrifice de communioncomme il le fait au jour du sabbat, puis il sortira et on fermera le porche dès qu'il sera sorti.	12 When the prince offers Yahweh voluntary burnt offerings or a voluntary communion sacrifice, the eastgate must be opened for him, and he must offer his burnt offerings and his communion sacrifice as he does onthe Sabbath day; when he has gone out, the gate must be shut after him.
13 Il offrira chaque jour en holocauste à Yahvé un agneau d'un an, sans défaut: il l'offrira chaquematin.	13 Every day he must offer an unblemished lamb one year old as a burnt offering to Yahweh; he mustoffer this every morning.
14 Il offrira aussi, chaque matin, en oblation, un sixième de mesure et de l'huile, un tiers de setier,pour pétrir la farine. C'est l'oblation à Yahvé, décret perpétuel, fixé pour toujours.	14 Every morning in addition he must offer an oblation of one-sixth of an ephah and one-third of a hin ofoil, for mixing with the flour. This is the oblation to Yahweh, a perpetual decree, fixed for ever.
15 On offrira l'agneau, l'oblation et l'huile, chaque matin, à perpétuité.	15 The lamb, the oblation and the oil must be offered morning after morning for ever.
16 Ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahvé. Si le prince fait à l'un de ses fils un don sur son héritage, ce donappartiendra à ses fils, ce sera leur propriété héréditaire.	16 "Lord Yahweh says this: If the prince presents part of his hereditary portion to one of his sons, the giftmust pass into the ownership of his sons and become their hereditary property.
17 Mais s'il fait un don sur son héritage à l'un de ses serviteurs, il appartiendra à celui-ci jusqu'àl'année de son affranchissement, puis il reviendra au prince. C'est à ses fils seulement que restera son héritage.	17 If, however, he presents part of his hereditary portion to one of his slaves, it wil belong to the manonly until the year of liberation and then must revert to the prince. Only his sons may retain his hereditaryportion.
18 Le prince ne prendra rien sur l'héritage du peuple, le dépouillant de ce qui lui appartient; c'estavec ce qui lui appartient à lui qu'il constituera l'héritage de ses fils, afin que nul de mon peuple ne soit privé dece qui lui appartient.	18 The prince may not take any part of the people's hereditary portion, thus robbing them of what istheirs; he must provide the patrimony of his sons out of his own property, so that no member of my people isrobbed of what is his!" '
19 Il m'emmena, par l'entrée qui est à côté du porche, aux chambres du Saint réservées aux prêtres,face au nord. Et voici qu'il y avait là un espace, au fond, vers l'occident.	19 He took me through the entrance at the side of the north gate that leads to the rooms of the HolyPlace set apart for the priests. And there before us, to the west, was a space at the end.
20 Il me dit: "Voici l'endroit où les prêtres feront cuire les victimes des sacrifices pour le péché etdes sacrifices de réparation, où ils feront cuire l'oblation, sans qu'ils aient à les porter vers le parvis extérieur, aurisque de sanctifier le peuple."	20 He said to me, 'This is where the priests must boil the slaughtered animals for the sacrifice for sinand the sacrifice of reparation, and where they must bake the oblation, without having to carry them into theouter court and so run the risk of hal owing the people.'
21 Puis il m'emmena au parvis extérieur et me fit passer près des quatre angles du parvis; il y avaitune cour à chaque angle du parvis,	21 He then took me into the outer court and led me to each of its four corners; in each corner of theouter court was a compound;
22 soit, aux quatre angles du parvis, quatre petites cours longues de 40 coudées, larges de 30, ayanttoutes les quatre les mêmes dimensions.	22 in other words, the four corners of the court contained four smal compounds, forty cubits by thirty, alfour being the same size.
23 Un mur les entourait toutes les quatre, et des foyers étaient construits en bas du mur, tout autour.	23 Al four were enclosed by a wal , with hearths al round the bottom of the wall.
24 Il me dit: "Ce sont les fours où les serviteurs du Temple feront cuire les sacrifices du peuple."	24 He said, 'These are the kitchens where the Temple servants must boil the sacrifices offered by thepeople.'
