Lévitique 8

JERUSALEM	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Yahvé parla à Moïse et dit:	1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Prends Aaron, ses fils avec lui, les vêtements, l'huile d'onction, le taureau du sacrifice pour lepéché, les deux béliers, la corbeille des azymes.	2 Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;
3 Puis convoque toute la communauté à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous.	3 And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
4 Moïse suivit les ordres de Yahvé, la communauté se réunit à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous,	4 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
5 et Moïse lui dit: "Voici ce que Yahvé a ordonné de faire."	5 And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.
6 Il fit approcher Aaron et ses fils et les lava dans l'eau.	6 And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.
7 Il lui mit la tunique, lui passa la ceinture, le revêtit du manteau et plaça sur lui l'éphod. Puis il leceignit de l'écharpe de l'éphod et la fixa sur lui.	7 And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.
8 Il lui imposa le pectoral, où il mit l'Urim et le Tummim.	8 And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.
9 Sur la tête il lui mit le turban, et sur le devant du turban la fleur d'or; c'est le signe de sainteconsécration tel que Yahvé le prescrivit à Moïse.	9 And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, even upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.
10 Moïse prit alors l'huile d'onction, il oignit pour les consacrer la Demeure et tout ce qui s'ytrouvait.	10 And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them.
11 Il fit sept aspersions sur l'autel et oignit pour les consacrer l'autel et ses accessoires, le bassin etson socle.	11 And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.
12 Il versa de l'huile d'onction sur la tête d'Aaron, et l'oignit pour le consacrer.	12 And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.
13 Moïse fit alors approcher les fils d'Aaron, qu'il revêtit de tuniques, auxquels il passa desceintures et fixa des calottes, comme Yahvé l'avait ordonné à Moïse.	13 And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.
14 Puis il fit approcher le taureau du sacrifice pour le péché. Aaron et ses fils posèrent leur main surla tête de cette victime,	14 And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.
15 et Moïse l'immola. Il prit alors le sang, avec son doigt il en déposa sur les cornes du pourtour del'autel pour ôter le péché de celui-ci. Puis il versa le sang à la base de l'autel, qu'il consacra en faisant sur lui lerite d'expiation.	15 And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.
16 Il prit ensuite toute la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles, la masse de graisse qui part du foie, lesdeux rognons et leur graisse, et il les fit fumer à l'autel.	16 And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar.
17 Quant à la peau du taureau, sa chair et sa fiente, il les brûla hors du camp comme Yahvé l'avaitordonné à Moïse.	17 But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.
18 Il fit alors approcher le bélier de l'holocauste. Aaron et ses fils posèrent leur main sur la tête dece bélier,	18 And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
19 et Moïse l'immola. Il en fit couler le sang sur le pourtour de l'autel.	19 And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.
20 Puis il dépeça le bélier en quartiers et fit fumer la tête, les quartiers et la graisse.	20 And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat.
21 Il lava dans l'eau les entrailles et les pattes et fit fumer à l'autel le bélier tout entier. C'était unholocauste en parfum d'apaisement, un mets consumé pour Yahvé, comme Yahvé l'avait ordonné à Moïse.	21 And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, and an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
22 Il fit alors approcher le second bélier, bélier du sacrifice d'investiture. Aaron et ses fils posèrentleur main sur la tête de ce bélier,	22 And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
23 et Moïse l'immola. Il en prit du sang qu'il déposa sur le lobe de l'oreille droite d'Aaron, sur lepouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit.	23 And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.
24 Puis il fit approcher les fils d'Aaron et déposa de ce sang sur le lobe de leur oreille droite, sur lepouce de leur main droite et sur le gros orteil de leur pied droit. Moïse fit ensuite couler le sang sur le pourtourde l'autel;	24 And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.
25 il prit aussi la graisse: la queue, toute la graisse qui adhère aux entrailles, la masse de graisse quipart du foie, les deux rognons et leur graisse, la cuisse droite.	25 And he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder:
26 De la corbeille des azymes placée devant Yahvé il prit un gâteau d'azyme, un gâteau de pain àl'huile, et une galette qu'il joignit aux graisses et à la cuisse droite.	26 And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:
27 Il mit le tout dans les mains d'Aaron et dans celles de ses fils et fit le geste de présentation devantYahvé.	27 And he put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD.
28 Moïse les reprit alors de leurs mains et les fit fumer à l'autel en plus de l'holocauste. C'était lesacrifice d'investiture en parfum d'apaisement, un mets consumé pour Yahvé.	28 And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were consecrations for a sweet savour: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
29 Moïse prit aussi la poitrine et fit le geste de présentation devant Yahvé. Ce fut la part du bélierd'investiture qui revint à Moïse, comme Yahvé l'avait ordonné à Moïse.	29 And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: for of the ram of consecration it was Moses' part; as the LORD commanded Moses.
30 Moïse prit ensuite de l'huile d'onction et du sang qui était sur l'autel; il en aspergea Aaron et sesvêtements ainsi que ses fils et leurs vêtements. Il consacra par là Aaron et ses vêtements ainsi que ses fils et leursvêtements.	30 And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
31 Moïse dit alors à Aaron et à ses fils: "Faites cuire la viande à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous; vous la mangerez là, ainsi que le pain déposé dans la corbeille du sacrifice d'investiture, comme je l'aiordonné en disant: Aaron et ses fils le mangeront.	31 And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.
32 Ce qui reste de la viande et du pain, vous le brûlerez.	32 And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire.
33 Sept jours durant vous ne quitterez pas l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous jusqu'à ce ques'achève le temps de votre investiture, car il faudra sept jours pour votre investiture.	33 And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.
34 Yahvé a commandé de procéder comme on a procédé aujourd'hui pour accomplir sur vous le rited'expiation,	34 As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.
35 et, pendant sept jours, jour et nuit, vous demeurerez à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous enobservant le rituel de Yahvé; ainsi vous ne mourrez pas. C'est en effet l'ordre que j'ai reçu."	35 Therefore shall ye abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.
36 Aaron et ses fils firent tout ce que Yahvé avait ordonné par l'intermédiaire de Moïse.	36 So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
