1 Il fit un autel de bronze, long de vingt coudées, large de vingt et haut de dix.	1 Also, he made a brass altar of twenty cubits in length, and of twenty cubits in width, and of ten cubits in height,
2 Puis il coula la Mer en métal fondu, de dix coudées de bord à bord, à pourtour circulaire, decinq coudées de hauteur; un fil de 30 coudées en mesurait le tour.	2 as well as a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in its circumference. It had five cubits in height, and a line of thirty cubits went around it on all sides.
3 Il y avait, sous le pourtour, des animaux ressemblant à des boeufs, l'encerclant tout autour.Incurvées sur dix coudées du pourtour de la Mer, deux rangées de boeufs avaient été coulées avec la masse.	3 Also, under it there was the likeness of oxen. 4 La Mer reposait sur douze boeufs, trois regardaient vers le nord, trois regardaient vers l'ouest,trois regardaient vers le sud, trois regardaient vers l'est: la Mer s'élevait au-dessus d'eux et tous leurs arrière-trains étaient tournés vers l'intérieur.	4 And the sea itself was placed upon the twelve oxen, three of which were looking toward the north, and another three toward the west, then another three toward the south, and the three that remained toward the east, having the sea imposed upon them. But the posteriors of the oxen were toward the interior, under the sea.
5 Son épaisseur était d'un palme et son bord avait la même forme que le bord d'une coupe,comme une fleur. 6 Il fit dix bassins et en plaça cinq à droite et cinq à gauche pour y laver la victime del'holocauste que l'on y purifiait, mais c'est dans la Mer que les prêtres se lavaient.	6 Also, he made ten basins. 7 Il fit les dix chandeliers d'or du modèle prescrit et les mit dans le Hékal, cinq à droite et cinq àgauche.	7 Then he also made ten gold lampstands, according to the form by which they had been ordered to be made. And he set them in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left.

9 Il fit le parvis des prêtres, la grande cour et ses portes qu'il revêtit de bronze.	9 Then too, he made the court of the priests, and a great hall, and doors in the hall, which he covered with brass.
10 Quant à la Mer, il l'avait placée à distance du côté droit, au sud-est.	10 Now he placed the sea on the right side, facing the east, toward the south.
11 Huram fit les vases à cendres, les pelles, les bols à aspersion. Il acheva tout l'ouvrage dontl'avait chargé le roi Salomon pour le Temple de Dieu:	11 Then Hiram made cooking pots and hooks and bowls. And he completed every work of the king in the house of God,
12 Deux colonnes; les tores des chapiteaux qui étaient au sommet des colonnes; les deux treillispour couvrir les deux tores des chapiteaux qui étaient au sommet des colonnes;	12 that is, the two pillars, and the crossbeams, and the heads, and something like a little net, which would cover the heads above the crossbeams,

17 C'est dans le district du Jourdain que le roi les coula en pleine terre, entre Sukkot et Ceréda.	17 The king cast these in the region near the Jordan, in the clay soil between Succoth and Zeredah.
18 Salomon fit tous ces objets en grand nombre, car on ne calculait pas le poids du bronze.	18 Now the multitude of the vessels was innumerable, so much so that the weight of the brass was unknown.
19 Salomon fit tous les objets destinés au Temple de Dieu: l'autel d'or et les tables sur lesquellesétaient les pains d'oblation;	19 And Solomon made all the vessels for the house of God, and the gold altar, and the tables upon which were the bread of the presence;

And he engraved the doors of the inner temple, that is, for the Holy of Holies. And the doors of the outer temple were of gold. And so, every work was completed that Solomon made in the house of the Lord.
