EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Del maestro de coro. Con la cítara de Gat. De los hijos de Coré. Salmo.	1 Unto the end, for the winepresses, a psalm for the sons of Core.
2 ¡Qué amable es tu Morada, Señor del Universo!	2 How lovely are thy tabernacles, O Lord of host!
3 Mi alma se consume de deseos por los atrios del Señor; mi corazón y mi carne claman ansiosos por el Dios viviente.	3 my soul longeth and fainteth for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have rejoiced in the living God.
4 Hasta el gorrión encontró una casa, y la golondrina tiene un nido donde poner sus pichones, junto a tus altares, Señor del universo, mi Rey y mi Dios.	4 For the sparrow hath found herself a house, and the turtle a nest for herself where she may lay her young ones: Thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.
5 ¡Felices los que habitan en tu Casa y te alaban sin cesar!	5 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house, O Lord: they shall praise thee for ever and ever.
6 ¡Felices los que encuentran su fuerza en ti, al emprender la peregrinación!	6 Blessed is the man whose help is from thee: in his heart he hath disposed to ascend by steps,
7 Al pasar por el valle árido, lo convierten en un oasis; caen las primeras lluvias, y lo cubren de bendiciones;	7 in the vale of tears, in the place which be hath set.
8 ellos avanzan con vigor siempre creciente hasta contemplar a Dios en Sión.	8 For the lawgiver shall give a blessing, they shall go from virtue to virtue: the God of gods shall be seen in Sion.
9 Señor del universo, oye mi plegaria, escucha, Dios de Jacob;	9 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob.
10 protege, Dios, a nuestro Escudo y mira el rostro de tu Ungido.	10 Behold, O God our protector: and look on the face of thy Christ.
11 Vale más un día en tus atrios que mil en otra parte; yo prefiero el umbral de la Casa de mi Dios antes que vivir entre malvados.	11 For better is one day in thy courts above thousands. I have chosen to be an abject in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners.
12 Porque el Señor es sol y escudo; Dios da la gracia y la gloria, y no niega sus bienes a los que proceden con rectitud.	12 For God loveth mercy and truth: the Lord will give grace and glory.
13 ¡Señor del universo, feliz el hombre que confía en ti!	13 He will not deprive of good things them that walk in innocence : O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
