| 10 Mon fils, ne t'engage pas dans une multiplicité d'actions; car si tu es riche, tu ne seras pas exempt de faute. Si tu poursuis trop, tu ne pourras pas y suffire, et si tu cours en avant, tu n'échapperas pas. | 10 My son, do not busy yourself with many matters; if you multiply activities you will not go unpunished, and if you pursue you will not overtake, and by fleeing you will not escape. |

| 34 Une seule étincelle allume un incendie, et un seul fourbe multiplie les meurtres, et le pécheur tend des pièges pour répandre le sang. | 34 Receive a stranger into your home and he will upset you with commotion, and will estrange you from your family. |
