1 Cantico de' gradi. Dalli luoghi profondi gridai a te, Signore :	1 A Canticle in steps. From the depths, I have cried out to you, O Lord.
2 Signore, esaudi la orazione mia. Siano fatte le orecchie tue da intendere, nella voce della mia orazione.	2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
3 Signore se tu osservarai le iniquità, Signore, chi le sostenerà?	3 If you, O Lord, were to heed iniquities, who, O Lord, could persevere?
4 Per che appo te è la misericordia; e per la tua legge, Signore, ti ho sustenuto. L'anima mia ha sostenuto nella parola sua;	4 For with you, there is forgiveness, and because of your law, I persevered with you, Lord. My soul has persevered in his word.
5 l'anima mia ha sperato nel Signore.	5 My soul has hoped in the Lord.
6 Dalla guardia della mattina insino la notte, sperarà Israel nel Signore.	6 From the morning watch, even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.
7 Per che appresso al Signore è la misericordia; e appresso lui è la abbondante redenzione.	7 For with the Lord there is mercy, and with him there is bountiful redemption.
8 Egli ricompererà Israel da tutte le iniquità	8 And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
