1 Cantico de' gradi. Dalli luoghi profondi gridai a te, Signore :	1 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:
2 Signore, esaudi la orazione mia. Siano fatte le orecchie tue da intendere, nella voce della mia orazione.	2 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.
3 Signore se tu osservarai le iniquità, Signore, chi le sostenerà?	3 The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
4 Per che appo te è la misericordia; e per la tua legge, Signore, ti ho sustenuto. L'anima mia ha sostenuto nella parola sua;	4 The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
5 l'anima mia ha sperato nel Signore.	5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
6 Dalla guardia della mattina insino la notte, sperarà Israel nel Signore.	6 Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
7 Per che appresso al Signore è la misericordia; e appresso lui è la abbondante redenzione.	7 Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
8 Egli ricompererà Israel da tutte le iniquità	8 Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
