1 ¡Aleluya!

Canten al Señor un canto nuevo,

resuene su alabanza en la asamblea de los fieles;

1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
2 que Israel se alegre por su Creador

y los hijos de Sión se regocijen por su Rey.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3 Celebran su Nombre con danzas,

cántenle con el tambor y la cítara,

3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
4 porque el Señor tiene predilección por su pueblo

y corona con el triunfo a los humildes.

4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Que los fieles se alegren por su gloria

y canten jubilosos en sus fiestas.

5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Glorifiquen a Dios con sus gargantas

y empuñen la espada de dos filos:

6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
7 para tomar venganza de los pueblos

y castigar a las naciones;

7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 para atar con cadenas a sus reyes,

y con grillos de hierro a sus jefes.

8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 Así se les aplicará la sentencia dictada:

esta es la victoria de todos tus fieles.

¡Aleluya!		9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
