Judas 1

1 Judas, siervo de Jesucristo, hermano de Santiago, a los que han sido llamados, amados de Dios Padre y guardados para Jesucristo.	1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are beloved in God the Father, and who are guarded and called in Jesus Christ:
2 A vosotros, misericordia, paz y amor abundantes.	2 May mercy, and peace, and love be fulfilled in you.
3 Queridos, tenía yo mucho empeño en escribiros acerca de nuestra común salvación y me he visto en la necesidad de hacerlo para exhortaros a combatir por la fe que ha sido transmitida a los santos de una vez para siempre.	3 Most beloved, taking all care to write to you about your common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you in order to beg you to contend earnestly for the faith that was handed down once to the saints.
4 Porque se han introducido solapadamente algunos que hace tiempo la Escritura señaló ya para esta sentencia. Son impíos, que conviertan en libertinaje la gracia de nuestro Dios y niegan al único Dueño y Señor nuestro Jesucristo.	4 For certain men entered unnoticed, who were written of beforehand unto this judgment: impious persons who are transforming the grace of our God into self-indulgence, and who are denying both the sole Ruler and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 Quiero recordaros a vosotros, que ya habéis aprendido todo esto de una vez para siempre, que el Señor, habiendo librado al pueblo de la tierra de Egipto, destruyó después a los que no creyeron;	5 So I want to caution you. Those who once knew everything that Jesus did, in saving the people from the land of Egypt, afterwards perished because they did not believe.
6 y además que a los ángeles, que no mantuvieron su dignidad, sino que abandonaron su propia morada, los tiene guardados con ligaduras eternas bajo tinieblas para el juicio del gran Día.	6 And truly, the Angels, who did not keep to their first place, but instead abandoned their own domiciles, he has reserved with perpetual chains under darkness, unto the great day of judgment.
7 Y lo mismo Sodoma y Gomorra y las ciudades vecinas, que como ellos fornicaron y se fueron tras una carne diferente, padeciendo la pena de un fuego eterno, sirven de ejemplo.	7 And also Sodom and Gomorrah, and the adjoining cities, in similar ways, having given themselves over to fornication and to the pursuing of other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
8 Igualmente éstos, a pesar de todo, alucinados en sus delirios, manchan la carne, desprecian al Señorío e injurian a las Glorias.	8 Similarly also, these ones certainly defile the flesh, and they despise proper authority, and they blaspheme against majesty.
9 En cambio el arcángel Miguel, cuando altercaba con el diablo disputándose el cuerpo de Moisés, no se atrevió a pronunciar contra él juicio injurioso, sino que dijo: «Que te castigue el Señor».	9 When Michael the Archangel, disputing with the devil, contended about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring against him a judgment of blasphemy, so instead he said: “The Lord commands you.”
10 Pero éstos injurian lo que ignoran y se corrompen en las cosas que, como animales irracionales, conocen por instinto.	10 But these men certainly blaspheme against whatever they do not understand. And yet, whatever they, like mute animals, know from nature, in these things they are corrupted.
11 ¡Ay de ellos!, porque se han ido por el camino de Caín, y por un salario se han abandonado al descarrío de Balaam, y han perecido en la rebelión de Coré.	11 Woe to them! For they have gone after the way of Cain, and they have poured out the error of Balaam for profit, and they have perished in the sedition of Korah.
12 Estos son una mancha cuando banquetean desvergonzadamente en vuestros ágapes y se apacientan a sí mismos; son nubes sin agua zarandeadas por el viento, árboles de otoño sin frutos, dos veces muertos, arrancados de raíz;	12 These ones are defiled within their banquets, enjoying themselves and feeding themselves without fear; waterless clouds, which are tossed about by winds; autumn trees, unfruitful, twice dead, uprooted;
13 son olas salvajes del mar, que echan la espuma de su propia vergüenza, estrellas errantes a quienes está reservada la oscuridad de las tinieblas para siempre.	13 raging waves of the sea, foaming from their own confusion; wandering stars, for whom the whirlwind of darkness has been reserved forever!
14 Henoc, el séptimo después de Adán, profetizó ya sobre ellos: «Mirad, el Señor ha venido con sus santas miríadas	14 And about these, Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied, saying: “Behold, the Lord is arriving with thousands of his saints,
15 para realizar el juicio contra todos y dejar convictos a todos los impíos de todas las obras de impiedad que realizaron y de todas las palabras duras que hablaron contra él los pecadores impíos».	15 to execute judgment against everyone, and to reprove all the impious concerning all the works of their impiety, by which they have acted impiously, and concerning all the harsh things that impious sinners have spoken against God.”
16 Estos son unos murmuradores, descontentos de su suerte, que viven según sus pasiones, cuya boca dice palabras altisonantes, que adulan por interés.	16 These ones are complaining murmurers, walking according to their own desires. And their mouth is speaking arrogance, admiring persons for the sake of gain.
17 En cambio vosotros, queridos, acordaos de las predicciones de los apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.	17 But as for you, most beloved, be mindful of the words which have been foretold by the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
18 Ellos os decían: «Al fin de los tiempos aparecerán hombres sarcásticos que vivirán según sus propias pasiones impías».	18 who declared to you that, in the end time, there would arrive mockers, walking according to their own desires, in impieties.
19 Estos son los que crean divisiones, viven una vida sólo natural sin tener el espíritu.	19 These are the ones who segregate themselves; they are animals, not having the Spirit.
20 Pero vosotros, queridos, edificándoos sobre vuestra santísima fe y orando en el Espíritu Santo,	20 But you, most beloved, are building yourselves up by your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 manteneos en la caridad de Dios, aguardando la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo para vida eterna.	21 keeping yourselves in the love of God, and anticipating the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 A unos, a los que vacilan, tratad de convencerlos;	22 So certainly, reprove them, after they have been judged.
23 a otros, tratad de salvarlos arrancándolos del fuego; y a otros mostradles misericordia con cautela, odiando incluso la túnica manchada por su carne.	23 Yet truly, save them, seizing them from the fire. And have mercy on others: in fear, hating even that which is of the flesh, the defiled garment.
24 Al que es capaz de guardaros inmunes de caída y de presentaros sin tacha ante su gloria con alegría,	24 Then, to him who has the power to keep you free from sin and to present you, immaculate, with exultation, before the presence of his glory at the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ,
25 al Dios único, nuestro Salvador, por medio de Jesucristo, nuestro Señor, gloria, majestad, fuerza y poder antes de todo tiempo, ahora y por todos los siglos. Amén.	25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord: to him be glory and magnificence, dominion and power, before all ages, and now, and in every age, forever. Amen.
