1 (Laude a cantico di David, pel giorno avanti il sabato, quando la terra fu fondata). Il Signore regna! Si è vestito di splendore, si è ammantato di fortezza e s'è cinto. 2 Da molto tempo è preparato il tuo trono: tu sei da tutta l'eternità.	2 The Lord has reigned. He has been clothed with beauty.
3 I fiumi innalzano, o Signore, i fiumi innalzano la loro voce, i fiumi innalzano i loro flutti	3 The Lord has been clothed with strength, and he has girded himself. Yet he has also confirmed the world, which will not be moved.
4 Col fragore di molte acque. Mirabili sono i sollevamenti del mare, ma più mirabile è Dio nel cielo.	4 My throne is prepared from of old. You are from everlasting.
5 Le tue testimonianze sono oltremodo degne di fede. Alla tua casa s'addice la santità, o Signore, per quanto il tempo dura.	5 Your testimonies have been made exceedingly trustworthy. Sanctity befits your house, O Lord, with length of days.
