Prima lettera di Pietro (1بطرس) 5

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 اطلب الى الشيوخ الذين بينكم انا الشيخ رفيقهم والشاهد لآلام المسيح وشريك المجد العتيد ان يعلن	1 I urge the elders among you, as a fellow-elder myself and a witness to the sufferings of Christ, and asone who is to have a share in the glory that is to be revealed:
2 ارعوا رعية الله التي بينكم نظّارا لا عن اضطرار بل بالاختيار ولا لربح قبيح بل بنشاط.	2 give a shepherd's care to the flock of God that is entrusted to you: watch over it, not simply as a dutybut gladly, as God wants; not for sordid money, but because you are eager to do it.
3 ولا كمن يسود على الانصبة بل صائرين امثلة للرعية	3 Do not lord it over the group which is in your charge, but be an example for the flock.
4 ومتى ظهر رئيس الرعاة تنالون اكليل المجد الذي لا يبلى	4 When the chief shepherd appears, you wil be given the unfading crown of glory.
5 كذلك ايها الاحداث اخضعوا للشيوخ وكونوا جميعا خاضعين بعضكم لبعض وتسربلوا بالتواضع لان الله يقاوم المستكبرين واما المتواضعون فيعطيهم نعمة.	5 In the same way, younger people, be subject to the elders. Humility towards one another must be thegarment you all wear constantly, because God opposes the proud but accords his favour to the humble.
6 فتواضعوا تحت يد الله القوية لكي يرفعكم في حينه	6 Bow down, then, before the power of God now, so that he may raise you up in due time;
7 ملقين كل همكم عليه لانه هو يعتني بكم	7 unload al your burden on to him, since he is concerned about you.
8 اصحوا واسهروا لان ابليس خصمكم كأسد زائر يجول ملتمسا من يبتلعه هو.	8 Keep sober and alert, because your enemy the devil is on the prowl like a roaring lion, looking forsomeone to devour.
9 فقاوموه راسخين في الايمان عالمين ان نفس هذه الآلام تجرى على اخوتكم الذين في العالم	9 Stand up to him, strong in faith and in the knowledge that it is the same kind of suffering that thecommunity of your brothers throughout the world is undergoing.
10 واله كل نعمة الذي دعانا الى مجده الابدي في المسيح يسوع بعدما تألمتم يسيرا هو يكملكم ويثبتكم ويقويكم ويمكنكم	10 You wil have to suffer only for a little while: the God of all grace who called you to eternal glory inChrist wil restore you, he wil confirm, strengthen and support you.
11 له المجد والسلطان الى ابد الآبدين. آمين	11 His power lasts for ever and ever. Amen.
12 بيد سلوانس الاخ الامين كما اظن كتبت اليكم بكلمات قليلة واعظا وشاهدا ان هذه هي نعمة الله الحقيقية التي فيها تقومون.	12 I write these few words to you through Silvanus, who is a trustworthy brother, to encourage you andattest that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it!
13 تسلم عليكم التي في بابل المختارة معكم ومرقس ابني.	13 Your sister in Babylon, who is with you among the chosen, sends you greetings; so does my son,Mark.
14 سلموا بعضكم على بعض بقبلة المحبة. سلام لكم جميعكم الذين في المسيح يسوع. آمين	14 Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to you al who are in Christ.
