1 When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.	1 Και οτε ηνοιξε την σφραγιδα την εβδομην, εγεινε σιωπη εν τω ουρανω, εως ημισειαν ωραν.
2 Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.	2 Και ειδον τους επτα αγγελους, οιτινες ισταντο ενωπιον του Θεου, και εδοθησαν εις αυτους επτα σαλπιγγες.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne;	3 Και ηλθεν αλλος αγγελος και εσταθη εμπροσθεν του θυσιαστηριου, κρατων θυμιατηριον χρυσουν, και εδοθησαν εις αυτον θυμιαματα πολλα, δια να προσφερη με τας προσευχας παντων των αγιων επι το θυσιαστηριον το χρυσουν το ενωπιον του θρονου.
4 and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God.	4 Και ανεβη ο καπνος των θυμιαματων με τας προσευχας παντων των αγιων εκ της χειρος του αγγελου ενωπιον του Θεου.
5 Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth; and there were peals of thunder, voices, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.	5 Και ελαβεν ο αγγελος το θυμιατηριον και εγεμισεν αυτο εκ του πυρος του θυσιαστηριου και ερριψεν εις την γην. Και εγειναν φωναι και βρονται και αστραπαι και σεισμος.
6 Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets made ready to blow them.	6 Και οι επτα αγγελοι, οι εχοντες τας επτα σαλπιγγας, ητοιμασαν εαυτους δια να σαλπισωσι.
7 The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, which fell on the earth; and a third of the earth was burnt up, and a third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.	7 Και ο πρωτος αγγελος εσαλπισε, και εγεινε χαλαζα και πυρ μεμιγμενα με αιμα, και ερριφθησαν εις την γην? και το τριτον των δενδρων κατεκαη και πας χλωρος χορτος κατεκαη.
8 The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea;	8 Και ο δευτερος αγγελος εσαλπισε, και ως ορος μεγα καιομενον με πυρ ερριφθη εις την θαλασσαν, και το τριτον της θαλασσης εγεινεν αιμα,
9 and a third of the sea became blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.	9 και απεθανε το τριτον των εμψυχων κτισματων των εν τη θαλασση και το τριτον των πλοιων διεφθαρη.
10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water.	10 Και ο τριτος αγγελος εσαλπισε, και επεσεν εκ του ουρανου αστηρ μεγας καιομενος ως λαμπας, και επεσεν επι το τριτον των ποταμων, και επι τας πηγας των υδατων?
11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died of the water, because it was made bitter.	11 και το ονομα του αστερος λεγεται Αψινθος? και εγεινε το τριτον των υδατων αψινθος, και πολλοι ανθρωποι απεθανον εκ των υδατων, διοτι επικρανθησαν.
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light was darkened; a third of the day was kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night.	12 Και ο τεταρτος αγγελος εσαλπισε, και εκτυπηθη το τριτον του ηλιου και το τριτον της σεληνης και το τριτον των αστερων, δια να σκοτισθη το τριτον αυτων, και η ημερα να χαση το τριτον του φωτισμου αυτης, και η νυξ ομοιως.
13 Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice, as it flew in midheaven, "Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets which the three angels are about to blow!"	13 Και ειδον και ηκουσα ενα αγγελον πετωμενον εις το μεσουρανημα, οστις ελεγε μετα φωνης μεγαλης? Ουαι, ουαι, ουαι εις τους κατοικουντας επι της γης δια τας λοιπας φωνας της σαλπιγγος των τριων αγγελων των μελλοντων να σαλπισωσι.
