1 When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.	1 Als das Lamm das siebte Siegel öffnete, trat im Himmel Stille ein, etwa eine halbe Stunde lang.
2 Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.	2 Und ich sah: Sieben Engel standen vor Gott; ihnen wurden sieben Posaunen gegeben.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne;	3 Und ein anderer Engel kam und trat mit einer goldenen Räucherpfanne an den Altar; ihm wurde viel Weihrauch gegeben, den er auf dem goldenen Altar vor dem Thron verbrennen sollte, um so die Gebete aller Heiligen vor Gott zu bringen.
4 and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God.	4 Aus der Hand des Engels stieg der Weihrauch mit den Gebeten der Heiligen zu Gott empor.
5 Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth; and there were peals of thunder, voices, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.	5 Dann nahm der Engel die Räucherpfanne, füllte sie mit glühenden Kohlen, die er vom Altar nahm, und warf sie auf die Erde; da begann es zu donnern und zu dröhnen, zu blitzen und zu beben.
6 Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets made ready to blow them.	6 Dann machten sich die sieben Engel bereit, die sieben Posaunen zu blasen.
7 The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, which fell on the earth; and a third of the earth was burnt up, and a third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.	7 Der erste Engel blies seine Posaune. Da fielen Hagel und Feuer, die mit Blut vermischt waren, auf das Land. Es verbrannte ein Drittel des Landes, ein Drittel der Bäume und alles grüne Gras.
8 The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea;	8 Der zweite Engel blies seine Posaune. Da wurde etwas, das einem großen brennenden Berg glich, ins Meer geworfen. Ein Drittel des Meeres wurde zu Blut.
9 and a third of the sea became blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.	9 Und ein Drittel der Geschöpfe, die im Meer leben, kam um und ein Drittel der Schiffe wurde vernichtet.
10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water.	10 Der dritte Engel blies seine Posaune. Da fiel ein großer Stern vom Himmel; er loderte wie eine Fackel und fiel auf ein Drittel der Flüsse und auf die Quellen.
11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died of the water, because it was made bitter.	11 Der Name des Sterns ist «Wermut». Ein Drittel des Wassers wurde bitter und viele Menschen starben durch das Wasser, weil es bitter geworden war.
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light was darkened; a third of the day was kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night.	12 Der vierte Engel blies seine Posaune. Da wurde ein Drittel der Sonne und ein Drittel des Mondes und ein Drittel der Sterne getroffen, sodass sie ein Drittel ihrer Leuchtkraft verloren und der Tag um ein Drittel dunkler wurde und ebenso die Nacht.
13 Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice, as it flew in midheaven, "Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets which the three angels are about to blow!"	13 Und ich sah und hörte: Ein Adler flog hoch am Himmel und rief mit lauter Stimme: Wehe! Wehe! Wehe den Bewohnern der Erde! Noch drei Engel werden ihre Posaunen blasen.
