1 When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.	1 Tendo (o Cordeiro) aberto o sétimo selo, fez-se silêncio no céu, quase por meia hora.
2 Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.	2 E vi os sete anjos, que estavam em pé diante de Deus, aos quais foram dadas sete trombetas.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne;	3 Depois veio outro anjo e parou, de pé, diante do altar, com um turíbulo de ouro; e foram-lhe dados muitos perfumes, a fim de os oferecer com as orações de todos os santos sobre o altar de ouro, que está diante do trono.
4 and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God.	4 E o fumo dos perfumes, com as orações dos santos, subiu da mão do anjo até à presença de Deus.
5 Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth; and there were peals of thunder, voices, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.	5 Depois o anjo tomou o turíbulo, encheu-o de fogo do altar e lançou-o sobre a terra. Houve, então, trovões, vozes, relâmpagos e um grande terramoto.
6 Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets made ready to blow them.	6 Os sete anjos, que tinham as sete trombetas, prepararam-se para as tocar.
7 The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, which fell on the earth; and a third of the earth was burnt up, and a third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.	7 O primeiro (anjo) tocou a trombeta, e houve granizo e fogo, de mistura com sangue, que foram atirados sobre a terra. Foi abrasada a terça parte da terra, foi queimada a terça parte das árvores, e toda a erva verde.
8 The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea;	8 O segundo anjo tocou a trombeta, e foi lançado no mar como que um grande monte ardendo em fogo. Converteu-se em sangue a terça parte do mar,
9 and a third of the sea became blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.	9 e a terça parte das criaturas que viviam no mar morreu, e a terça parte das naus foi destruída.
10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water.	10 O terceiro anjo tocou a trombeta, e caiu do céu uma grande estrela, a arder como um facho. Caiu sobre a terça parte dos rios e sobre as fontes das águas.
11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died of the water, because it was made bitter.	11 O nome da estrela é Absinto. A terça parte das águas converteu-se em absinto, e muitos homens morreram por causa daquelas águas, porque se tornaram amargosas.
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light was darkened; a third of the day was kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night.	12 O quarto anjo tocou a trombeta, e foi ferida a terça parte do sol, assim como a terça parle da lua e a terça parte das estrelas, de maneira que se obscureceu a sua terça parte, e o dia perdeu a terça parte do seu brilho, como também a noite.
13 Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice, as it flew in midheaven, "Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets which the three angels are about to blow!"	13 E vi: Ouvi a voz de uma águia, que voava para o zênite, a qual dizia em alta voz: "Ai, aí, aí dos habitantes da terra, por causa dos restantes toques de trombeta, que os três anjos estão prestes a tocar."
