Judges 10

1 After Abimelech there arose to deliver Israel Tola the son of Puah, son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he lived at Shamir in the hill country of Ephraim.	1 και ανεστη μετα αβιμελεχ του σωσαι τον ισραηλ θωλα υιος φουα υιος πατραδελφου αυτου ανηρ ισσαχαρ και αυτος κατωκει εν σαμαρεια εν ορει εφραιμ
2 And he judged Israel twenty-three years. Then he died, and was buried at Shamir.	2 και εκρινεν τον ισραηλ εικοσι και τρια ετη και απεθανεν και εταφη εν σαμαρεια
3 After him arose Jair the Gileadite, who judged Israel twenty-two years.	3 και ανεστη μετ' αυτον ιαιρ ο γαλααδιτης και εκρινεν τον ισραηλ εικοσι και δυο ετη
4 And he had thirty sons who rode on thirty asses; and they had thirty cities, called Havvoth-jair to this day, which are in the land of Gilead.	4 και εγενοντο αυτω τριακοντα και δυο υιοι επιβεβηκοτες επι τριακοντα και δυο πωλους και τριακοντα και δυο πολεις αυτοις και εκαλεσεν αυτας επαυλεις ιαιρ εως της ημερας ταυτης αι εισιν εν τη γη γαλααδ
5 And Jair died, and was buried in Kamon.	5 και απεθανεν ιαιρ και εταφη εν ραμμω
6 And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, and served the Baals and the Ashtaroth, the gods of Syria, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the Ammonites, and the gods of the Philistines; and they forsook the LORD, and did not serve him.	6 και προσεθεντο οι υιοι ισραηλ ποιησαι το πονηρον εναντι κυριου και ελατρευσαν ταις βααλιμ και ταις ασταρωθ και τοις θεοις σιδωνος και τοις θεοις μωαβ και τοις θεοις υιων αμμων και τοις θεοις των αλλοφυλων και εγκατελιπον τον κυριον και ουκ εδουλευσαν αυτω
7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of the Philistines and into the hand of the Ammonites,	7 και εθυμωθη οργη κυριος εν τω ισραηλ και απεδοτο αυτους εν χειρι αλλοφυλων και εν χειρι υιων αμμων
8 and they crushed and oppressed the children of Israel that year. For eighteen years they oppressed all the people of Israel that were beyond the Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.	8 και εσαθρωσαν και εθλασαν τους υιους ισραηλ εν τω ενιαυτω εκεινω οκτωκαιδεκα ετη παντας τους υιους ισραηλ εν τω περαν του ιορδανου εν τη γη του αμορραιου εν τη γαλααδιτιδι
9 And the Ammonites crossed the Jordan to fight also against Judah and against Benjamin and against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sorely distressed.	9 και διεβησαν οι υιοι αμμων τον ιορδανην εκπολεμησαι και εν τω ιουδα και βενιαμιν και εν τω οικω εφραιμ και εθλιβησαν οι υιοι ισραηλ σφοδρα
10 And the people of Israel cried to the LORD, saying, "We have sinned against thee, because we have forsaken our God and have served the Baals."	10 και εκεκραξαν οι υιοι ισραηλ προς κυριον λεγοντες ημαρτομεν σοι οτι εγκατελιπομεν τον θεον ημων και ελατρευσαμεν ταις βααλιμ
11 And the LORD said to the people of Israel, "Did I not deliver you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites, from the Ammonites and from the Philistines?	11 και ειπεν κυριος προς τους υιους ισραηλ ουχι οι αιγυπτιοι και οι αμορραιοι και οι υιοι αμμων και μωαβ και οι αλλοφυλοι
12 The Sidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, oppressed you; and you cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.	12 και σιδωνιοι και μαδιαμ και αμαληκ εξεθλιψαν υμας και εκεκραξατε προς με και εσωσα υμας εκ χειρος αυτων
13 Yet you have forsaken me and served other gods; therefore I will deliver you no more.	13 και υμεις εγκατελιπετε με και ελατρευσατε θεοις ετεροις δια τουτο ου προσθησω του σωσαι υμας
14 Go and cry to the gods whom you have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your distress."	14 βαδιζετε και βοατε προς τους θεους ους εξελεξασθε εαυτοις και αυτοι σωσατωσαν υμας εν καιρω θλιψεως υμων
15 And the people of Israel said to the LORD, "We have sinned; do to us whatever seems good to thee; only deliver us, we pray thee, this day."	15 και ειπαν οι υιοι ισραηλ προς κυριον ημαρτομεν ποιησον συ ημιν κατα παντα οσα αν αρεσκη ενωπιον σου πλην κυριε εξελου ημας εν τη ημερα ταυτη
16 So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the LORD; and he became indignant over the misery of Israel.	16 και μετεστησαν τους θεους τους αλλοτριους εκ μεσου αυτων και ελατρευσαν τω κυριω και ουκ ευηρεστησεν εν τω λαω και ωλιγοψυχησεν εν τω κοπω ισραηλ
17 Then the Ammonites were called to arms, and they encamped in Gilead; and the people of Israel came together, and they encamped at Mizpah.	17 και ανεβησαν οι υιοι αμμων και παρενεβαλον εν γαλααδ και εξηλθον οι υιοι ισραηλ και παρενεβαλον εν τη μασσηφα
18 And the people, the leaders of Gilead, said one to another, "Who is the man that will begin to fight against the Ammonites? He shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead."	18 και ειπον οι αρχοντες του λαου γαλααδ ανηρ προς τον πλησιον αυτου τις ανηρ ος αρξεται πολεμησαι εν τοις υιοις αμμων και εσται εις κεφαλην πασιν τοις κατοικουσιν γαλααδ
