Colossians 4

1 Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.	1 En cuanto a ustedes, patrones, concedan a sus servidores lo que es justo y razonable, recordando que también ustedes tienen un Señor en el cielo.
2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving;	2 Perseveren en la oración, velando siempre en ella con acción de gracias.
3 and pray for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison,	3 Rueguen también por nosotros, a fin de que Dios nos allane el camino para anunciar el misterio de Cristo, por el cual estoy preso,
4 that I may make it clear, as I ought to speak.	4 y para que yo sepa pregonarlo en la debida forma.
5 Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time.	5 Compórtense con sensatez en sus relaciones con los que no creen, aprovechando bien el tiempo presente.
6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer every one.	6 Que sus conversaciones sean siempre agradables y oportunas, a fin de que sepan responder a cada uno como es debido.
7 Tychicus will tell you all about my affairs; he is a beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord.	7 en lo que a mí se refiere, nuestro querido hermano Tíquico, mi fiel ayudante y compañero en el servicio del Señor, los informará de todo.
8 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are and that he may encourage your hearts,	8 Yo lo envío expresamente para que él les dé noticias mías y los anime.
9 and with him Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of yourselves. They will tell you of everything that has taken place here.	9 Lo acompañará Onésimo, nuestro fiel y querido hermano, que es uno de ustedes. Ellos los pondrán al tanto de todo lo que pasa por aquí.
10 Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you have received instructions--if he comes to you, receive him),	10 Aristarco, mi compañero de prisión, los saluda; lo mismo que Marcos, el primo de Bernabé, acerca del cual ya recibieron instrucciones: si él va a verlos, recíbanlo bien.
11 and Jesus who is called Justus. These are the only men of the circumcision among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.	11 Igualmente los saluda Jesús, el que es llamado Justo. De los que provienen del Judaísmo, estos son los únicos que trabajan conmigo por el Reino de Dios: por eso han sido un consuelo para mí.
12 Epaphras, who is one of yourselves, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always remembering you earnestly in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.	12 También los saluda Epafras, su compatriota, este servidor de Cristo Jesús que ora incansablemente por ustedes, para que se mantengan firmes en la perfección, cumpliendo plenamente la voluntad de Dios.
13 For I bear him witness that he has worked hard for you and for those in La-odicea and in Hi-erapolis.	13 Yo doy testimonio de lo mucho que él hace por ustedes y por los de Laodicea y de Hierápolis.
14 Luke the beloved physician and Demas greet you.	14 Finalmente, los saludan Lucas, el querido médico, y Dimas.
15 Give my greetings to the brethren at La-odicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.	15 Saluden a los hermanos de Laodicea, especialmente a Ninfas y a la Iglesia que se reúne en su casa.
16 And when this letter has been read among you, have it read also in the church of the La-odiceans; and see that you read also the letter from La-odicea.	16 Una vez que hayan leído esta carta, háganla leer también en la Iglesia de Laodicea, y ustedes, a su vez, lean la carta que yo envié a esa Iglesia.
17 And say to Archippus, "See that you fulfil the ministry which you have received in the Lord."	17 Digan a Arquipo que esté atento al ministerio que recibió para servir al Señor y que lo cumpla bien.
