Ezekiel 30

1 The word of the LORD came to me:	1 Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
2 "Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: "Wail, 'Alas for the day!'	2 Menschensohn, tritt als Prophet auf und sag: So spricht Gott, der Herr:Jammert und schreit: Weh über diesen Tag!
3 For the day is near, the day of the LORD is near; it will be a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations.	3 Denn der Tag ist nahe, der Tag des Herrn ist nahe, ein Tag dunkler Wolken. Die Zeit für die Völker ist da.
4 A sword shall come upon Egypt, and anguish shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain fall in Egypt, and her wealth is carried away, and her foundations are torn down.	4 Das Schwert dringt ein in Ägypten. Ein Zittern überfällt die Kuschiter, wenn in Ägypten die Menschen erschlagen werden und fallen. Man schleppt seine Schätze hinweg und reißt seine Grundmauern nieder.
5 Ethiopia, and Put, and Lud, and all Arabia, and Libya, and the people of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.	5 (Die Männer aus) Kusch, aus Put und Lud, das ganze Völkergemisch,(die Männer aus) Kub und die Söhne des Landes, mit dem ich einst meinen Bund schloss, fallen wie sie unter dem Schwert.
6 "Thus says the LORD: Those who support Egypt shall fall, and her proud might shall come down; from Migdol to Syene they shall fall within her by the sword, says the Lord GOD.	6 So spricht der Herr: Es fallen die Helfer Ägyptens, seine herrliche Macht sinkt dahin. Von Migdol bis hin nach Syene fallen die Krieger unter dem Schwert - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn.
7 And she shall be desolated in the midst of desolated countries and her cities shall be in the midst of cities that are laid waste.	7 Verwüstet liegt es dann da inmitten verwüsteter Länder und seine Städte inmitten verödeter Städte.
8 Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have set fire to Egypt, and all her helpers are broken.	8 Sie werden erkennen, dass ich der Herr bin, wenn ich Ägypten verbrenne, wenn all seine Helfer zusammenbrechen.
9 "On that day swift messengers shall go forth from me to terrify the unsuspecting Ethiopians; and anguish shall come upon them on the day of Egypt's doom; for, lo, it comes!	9 An jenem Tag schicke ich meine Boten auf Schiffen hinaus, um Kusch aus seiner Ruhe zu schrecken. 10 "Thus says the Lord GOD: I will put an end to the wealth of Egypt, by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.	10 So spricht Gott, der Herr: Ich mache der Pracht Ägyptens ein Ende durch die Hand Nebukadnezzars, des Königs von Babel.
11 He and his people with him, the most terrible of the nations, shall be brought in to destroy the land; and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.	11 Er und sein Heer, die gewalttätigsten unter den Völkern, werden herbeigeholt, um das Land zu vernichten. Sie zücken ihr Schwert und schlagen Ägypten und füllen das Land mit erschlagenen Menschen.
12 And I will dry up the Nile, and will sell the land into the hand of evil men; I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it, by the hand of foreigners; I, the LORD, have spoken.	12 Ich lege die Nilarme trocken, verkaufe das Land an Verbrecher, ich verwüste das Land und alles darin durch die Hände von Fremden. 13 "Thus says the Lord GOD: I will destroy the idols, and put an end to the images, in Memphis; there shall no longer be a prince in the land of Egypt; so I will put fear in the land of Egypt.	13 So spricht Gott, der Herr: Ich will die Götzen vernichten. Ich führe das Ende der Götter von Memfis herbei. Der Fürst von Ägypten wird (bald) nicht mehr leben. Ich stürze Ägypten in Angst.
14 I will make Pathros a desolation, and will set fire to Zoan, and will execute acts of judgment upon Thebes.	14 Patros will ich verwüsten, Zoan will ich verbrennen, an No vollstrecke ich das Urteil.

20 In the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me:	20 Am siebten Tag des ersten Monats im elften Jahr erging das Wort des Herrn an mich:
21 "Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and lo, it has not been bound up, to heal it by binding it with a bandage, so that it may become strong to wield the sword.	21 Menschensohn, ich habe dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, den Arm zerbrochen. Man hat ihn nicht verbunden und nicht geschient und ihm keine Heilung gegönnt, damit er nicht wieder zu Kräften kommt und zum Schwert greift.
22 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, both the strong arm and the one that was broken; and I will make the sword fall from his hand.	22 Darum - so spricht Gott, der Herr: Jetzt gehe ich gegen den Pharao vor, den König von Ägypten: Ich zerbreche ihm beide Arme, den gesunden und den bereits zerbrochenen, und schlage ihm das Schwert aus der Hand.
23 I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them throughout the lands.	23 Ich zerstreue die Ägypter unter die Völker und vertreibe sie in alle Länder.
24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand; but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before him like a man mortally wounded.	24 Ich stärke die Arme des Königs von Babel und gebe ihm mein Schwert in die Hand. Dem Pharao aber zerbreche ich die Arme, sodass er vor ihm stöhnt wie ein tödlich Verletzter.
25 I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh shall fall; and they shall know that I am the LORD. When I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, he shall stretch it out against the land of Egypt;	25 Ich stärke die Arme des Königs von Babel; doch die Arme des Pharao sinken kraftlos herunter. Wenn ich dem König von Babel mein Schwert in die Hand gebe und er es über Ägypten schwingt, dann werden sie erkennen, dass ich der Herr bin.
26 and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them throughout the countries. Then they will know that I am the LORD."	26 Ich zerstreue die Ägypter unter die Völker und vertreibe sie in alle Länder. Dann werden sie erkennen, dass ich der Herr bin.
